Our You're a Doll!: Gothic Lolita Collection rouges... now part of our permanent collection, and featuring a brand new shade, "Rococo"...
"Corset" and "Dolly" debuted in our Spring 2007 kits and were a resounding hit! Don't miss our other Gothic Lolita collection products, such as Metamorphosis Finishing powder!
"Corset" ... A clear brilliant reddish rouge. (redder than our very popular "Verve"). Gives you a bright pop of natural color on your cheeks with a light dusting, and a more daring kiss of candy apple red flush when you swirl your brush around on your cheekbones. The choice is yours, girls! This color looks fantastic contrasted with pale skintones, but is also lustrous with deeper skintones and tanned skin.
"Dolly" ... A clear brilliant pink rouge. Gives you sweet girlish pink cheeks, no matter what your age, everyone can use a bright smooch of color on their cheekbones. This is the perfect color to do it. Apply it how you like it... the tiniest bit for an angelic pink twinge, or several layers for a hotter pink flush. Doll it up, Girl!
"Rococo" ... A clear sweet nectar-hued rouge. Not too peachy, this lovely color has a healthy dose of pink to make it a gorgeous neutral shade that will give your cheeks a naturally flushed appearance akin to that famed "O"... Just gorgeous on everyone!~~
NOTE: While we have made all attempts for photographs to accurately depict colors, photography unfortunately does not accurately reveal the depth and interplay of color and effect of these rouges. Also, please note that variations do exist between different computer monitors. Gothic Lolita Rouges are a mineral makeup product and thus are colored with mica and have various levels of shimmer. We sell samples of all of our products so that you can try before you purchase full sizes.

Comments:I just got Dolly, totally went on a whim. I have fair skin, and this color is just beautiful! I can use a sheer wash of color, or really punch it up and I just adore it! And it's got a subtle glimmer to it without being sparkly which I just love! |

Comments:I bought this color because I wanted to try a peachy color after always using pink blush. It is gorgeous. It gives a nice healthy flush with a tiny bit of shimmer so it looks so pretty when the light catches it. I have tan skin with black hair and this color is a perfect match for me. I remember trying Nars orgasm a while back and I guess this color would be a close comparison BUT without the $30 pricetag. |

Comments:I love all of these blushes. I don't know how they look on everyone but they have quite a bit of shimmer on me. Sometimes I'll mix them with a bit of Rocks! Sonic Rouge to make it a bit more matte. GL Dolly and Rocks! Sonic Rouge femmefatale are a favorite combo. As are Corset and sundaygirl. |

Comments:I tried corset and dolly and I loved them!!They both match my pale skin so well!I also noticed that they stay on very long.Corset looks very natural, while Dolly gives a pretty girly look(people tell me that I look like a porcelain doll when applying it xD).The shimmer is gorgeous and makes the skin look vivid! But be careful: they are very concetrated, so u have to use a tiny amount, especially if u're pale! |

Comments:I love this color! It's a brilliant peachy color, bordering on orange in the jar, but it warms up fair skin and looks lovely with my red hair. Will become one of my faves. Goes really well with Loveonyourside nourishing lip tint and warm eye colors. Great summer look! |

Comments:I bought all three full-size colors based on the fantastic reviews I read and also being a long-time Aromaleigh fan. I am sorely disappointed by the colors. I'm Asian and wear AL 3Y year round. I have tried all three colors and none of them really go on as nicely/evenly as the reviews here say nor do they look that nice on my skin. |

Comments:This is soooo concentrated I may never need to buy rouge again! It took me a while to get the hang of a "little goes a long way". I wear Glissade 3CL and this looks very natural with my skintone. |

Comments:I recoiled when I received this blush in the mail. In the jar it is ORANGE. But do not let that fool you. I am pretty fair with pink undertones and this goes on so naturally. Really beautiful. I've used it almost every day since receiving.. And since it is highly pigmented, I may never need to purchase another one! |

Comments:If the Dutch design duo Viktor & Rolf ever does makeup, these would be the blushes they come up with. The finish and the mood is classic couture, refined and crafted by the hands of exclusive atelier; the bold colors make sure nobody mistakes them for dowdy old-lady affair. Applied sheer, they work for everyday occasion, but with them, don't expect your face to look as "everyday-ish," i.e., dull, as the word generally implies. You're bound to get noticed, because you're gonna look really, really good. |

Comments:Looking at Rococo in the jar, I thought there was no way it was going to look good on me. I am fair, freckled, and auburn haired. I was pleasantly surprised! Rococo is my new favorite blush. I love it. It is absolutely perfect, and gives my face a fresh, pretty glow. Love, love, love it! |

Comments:I bought Rococo first, earlier this year, and then recently bought Corset. I use a fiber optic "skunk" brush to apply these blushes, as they are highly pigmented and shimmery. With a skunk brush, and a light hand, both blushes are lovely. I considered getting Dolly as well, but it looks similar to Dollymix, which I already own. |

Comments:At first, I was afraid of trying these, but I was in love with Verve and had to have Rococo...WOW! I love this color! It is the perfect pink-peach blend...more of a cool neutral on me & that's exactly what I was hoping for! Absolutely gorgeous! Corset looks almost scary, but it is also equally as beautiful and a perfect red. For me, being a light medium skin tone, I use a fiber optic brush with these and walla...perfect! I had to get Dolly (waiting on it now) to complete my Gothic Lolita You're A Doll collection. AL's pure rouges are ADDICTIVE! =D |

Comments:I got my You're a Doll as a part of the '07 collection. (I guess Dolly is the new name for the product)Although I initially thought this might be too pink for my golden skin tone, I just couldn't resist that lolita pink. Well, I am really glad I purchased it. This gives me super pretty glow. |

Comments:This color is the fulfillment of a decades long search for that perfect blush color. It is the shade I naturally blush! Additionally, the texture is perfect! I can apply it lightly for a sheer effect and I can apply more to get an intense "I've just had some hot passion w/ DH" effect. If you want a blush that is warm, but not too warm or orange, get Rococo! |

Comments:This shade is beautiful. This blush is my absolute favorite and I have always been afraid of blush. I am moderately pale skinned and it warms up my face without looking overdone. I sometimes wear it on my eyes, which makes blue really pop. Great product. |

Comments:Thinking that I was perfectly satisfied with a basic/natural shade like VERVE but willing to try another shade with more color, I was amazed at how my cheeks burst forth with such FRESHNESS! Being an (Asian) Indian woman, my brown skin tends to look almost yellowy and, well, not pretty during winter months. But because this shade has a golden-shimmer undertone, it lends an intriguing depth to my cheeks=veryveryvery pretty. The first time I tried it on my sister (who has darker skin) she was delighted by how her face looked alive and now she constantly steals this blush from me! Maybe I'll be an awesome sister and just buy one for her...I usually have problems with a lot of makeup because, frankly, they suit white women better. But to me, this blush seems much more versatile and is definetly a new favorite. My colors in Glissade: 3W, 4Y, 4WL, 4YL My sister: 4N, 4W, 5N |

Comments:These blushes are amazing! All three are very bright, vivid colors; however, the texture is very sheer and the color is very buildable. Apply with the fiber optic brush for a very natural flush of healthy color; apply with a regular blush for a bolder finish or for darker skintones. Despite the bright colors of these blushes, they also seem to have a sheer quality that lets your natural skintone show through -- they seem to just blend into your skintone instead of just "sitting there" like other blushes can, so they look very natural on almost every skintone!Since I prefer matte or nearly matte blushes, I personally think these have too much shimmer. However, I can easily fix that by applying the blushes just a little heavier than normal, then applying a very light dusting of Voile on top. This creates a matte finish while still letting the lovely color of the blush show through! My skintone is very pale, clear, and warm, and I wear a mix of Alabaster and 1W Voile. This is how the colors look on me: Rococo -- gorgeous neutral peachy color that's excellent for my warm skintone! However, it's still not TOO peach and will probably look good on neutral and maybe even cool skintones too! This is a great everyday blush for me. Corset -- Wow! I've never liked red blushes, but this is gorgeous! It gives such a lovely flush of color to my cheeks, without looking too RED or clownish like some red blushes! I have found myself reaching for this blush more and more often lately... Dolly -- my least favorite of the three, but still a lovely color. It definitely looks better on me than most pinks (most pinks are too cool for me) -- something about the sheer finish lets my natural skintone show through and "warm up" this blush so that it's not too cool for me. This is one of my favorite blushes for when I want a more cool look since it adds some color to my face without clashing with other cool colors like a warm blush would! |

Comments:I ordered a sample of Dolly with one of my last orders and fell in love! I am a level 2 or 3 and this bluch looks luscious on me! I use my fiber optic brush to lightly dust it on my cheeks and layer it until I have the right intensity. I'm waiting until it goes on sale to buy a full size since my sample will last a while. Thanks for the bargain, AL! |

Comments:I am very pink-toned and blush far too easily, but I really like both of these! I use just the tiniest amount over foundation and it looks quite good!I've *never* worn rouge before in all my 38 years, but I'll probably be getting full sizes of both of these. |

Comments:OK - see my review of Corset down there somewhere. Everything good about Corset is present in both Dolly and Rococo.Dolly is a deliciously fresh pink tone - even this warm gal can wear it. I always feel like I should be sitting on a broad terrazo sipping a gin gimlet while wearing a Lily Pulitzer shift when I wear Dolly. it is clear, soft and balanced pink, and I love it. And remember, I'm a girl who just doesn't "do pink." So often it fights with my coloring. Dolly is somehow different. And Rococo, oh my - so gorgeous, clear, fresh tangerine with a squirt of grenadine. Not orange, not scary South Beach Gramma,. just young, fresh, lovely, warm and balanced coral. Delicous! Shimmer - a little bit. Enough to make the skin look fresh and alive rather than powdered. But not so much that it looks like you had a highlighter incident. I'm 1N or 1W, and I use all these blushes OVER my foundation. It takes just a tiny bit, and I usually use a fan brush or a fiber optic brush. And I do buff out the edges with my fluffy face brush or my kabuki. Even if you are fair, you can do these shades. And if you are lucky enough to have a richer skintone, man alive, these will be GORGEOUS on you! |

Comments:Even though I am a pale warm level 1, I feel I can wear all 3 of these shades! I use Corset quite a bit; when I am wearing a cool look, I opt for Dolly. The new Rococo is a nice peachy color that is not orange, just natural looking. |

Comments:I got my Rococo sample in the mail, immediately tried it on, went straight to the computer and purchased a full size ! This is the best blus ( or shadow !) color I have tried in a looong time. It can run the range from cool/neutral/warm with no prob.I can use it under my mmu with a regular blush brush, over mmu with a fiber optic brush or top ir with a light perlr or Romance at Dusk or Magnolia finishing Powder. Very versitale |

Comments:In all my 46 years, I don't remember getting but 2 compliments on the blush I was wearing (I've gotten lots on e/s or lippies, but not many on blush), but the other day my DD told me she loved the shimmery color on my cheeks and it was Corset.I also remember once my DH reaching out to stroke my cheek and saying that he liked my blush and it was AL's Rocks! blush in "Firewoman" - hmm, I'm starting to think nobody does red rouge better than AL. On me Corset is like a shimmery warm spiced apple - and for reference, I'm a Voile Warm foundation gal. |

Comments:Oh. My. Goodness. I've long loved Verve, have used it for years as my go-to blush color year round, with every color I've ever worn. I've wanted something a bit brighter, to give me that fresh, healthy look, and Corset is that color! Perfectly balanced, with a delicate fine gilded gleam - more glow than glimmer, this is a red that I think will suit any complexion. I apply it starting under the apples of my cheeks and skate it along my cheekbone toward the hairline, then I buff up the apples for added freshness. It's just gorgeous! If you have been craving a fresh, clear red tone but find the Rocks! Rouges intimidating (they're not really - they're sheerer than they look!!), and want something a bit lighter weight than Persimmon or Scarlet, or if you loved the idea of Pomegranate but found it a bit cool for easy wear, then Corset will likely be your ideal shade! |
