I have tried many flocked sponges and this one is a winner, hands down! It is the softest, easiest to hold, longest wearing and the finish with mineral powders is exquisite!
It can be washed over and over again and returned to being "new".
I apply my Aromaleigh Glissade Mineral Foundation every day with this flocked sponge and love the results. I get even, medium coverage and a flawless, pore-less look.

Comments:first things first, i can't believe i have gone this long without even trying the flocked sponge. =O wow, now i totally know what i have been missing out on this whole time. if i can help it, i will never go back to buying cheap drugstore sponges again. the material that this flocked sponge is made from is simply awesome. it washes AND dries so well! it takes less than one day for the sponge to air-dry, whereas it would take nearly two whole days for my drugstore sponge to dry off. bonus: i had no idea the sponge was going to be so big and easy to work with! all i can say is wow over and over. thanks, aromaleigh! you've come through once again. =) |

Comments:This flocked sponge is really awesome, soft and washes well. I have never tried any other kind and I won't since I have tried this! I use it at night with the nocturne (which is also an awesome product!!) |

Comments:I've tried cheaper makeup sponges and they didn't hold up well. These last a long time and I have four of them I rotate usage of. I put them in the wash machine and then air dry. I rotate once a week and they last about two years this way. The price isn't cheap but they are worth it - especially if you can use a discount coupon. |

Comments:I was very impressed with this sponge--it gave me a smooth, even air-brush finish. I have used many drug store sponges but this one is the best. |

Comments:Just a little bit of voile, don't press hard, smooth it on and it fills all the pores/tiny wrinkles. Not that I have any........... |

Comments:I have 2 of these flocked sponges and I love them! I could never get the hang of the brush for application of foundation minerals, but love using these. I get the perfect coverage for me. I actually have had the same 2 sponges for like 3 years! I wash them and reuse, and they are still as soft and great as the first day! |

Comments:I tried this sponge years ago and wasn't happy either with it. BUT THEN, when I got the Powder Touch Up Compact, realized that the little holes in the compact helped me get the tiniest amount of powder dispensed. The sponge included with the compact worked great.
I got this flocked sponge again to replace the compact sponge when I'd worn it out. NOW I love using it! And so soft.
So anyway, I had been using way too much powder in the past. A good brush will compensate but the sponge holds powder differently and will cake it on. Now I've got the trick down. Teensy weensy bit of powder dispensed with the little holes... |

Comments:This sponge doesn't really work for me. It makes the foundation look a bit cakey, no matter how I try to work with it. Glad others like it, though! |

Comments:I load up my smoothy, and tuck it into my purse for quick fixes away from home. Also, the angle allows me to get right into the under eye area to cover those nasty circles. I love this product! |

Comments:After reading such great reviews on this flocked sponge, I decided to purchase it. I used the flocked sponge to apply mineral foundation and was disappointed. The sponge absorbed too much minerals and did not redeposit the minerals onto my face. I actually had to use more minerals than usual to obtain a good coverage. The sponge does apply liquid foundation nicely. I was able to find a much better flocked sponge at my local grocery store. |
| Best Flocked Sponge |

| By Kelley on April 19, 2008 |
Comments:This is by far the best flocked sponge out there. I've tried others, but they tend to break apart after repeated washings. I have a little redness, so I apply the foundation in the red areas or any area I need to cover up a flaw. I then put on a light coat of foundation on a brush and it evens everything out. A perfect "no show" airbrushed look! |

Comments:I honestly have been using the same sponge for four years; I did keep it washed. It never fell apart so I didn't realize I needed a new one until I opened one I got on sale and wow it is amazlingly soft. The sponge is coated with a soft, velvety layer that feels amazing. I just ordered a taklon brush to try that out with foundation, but I don't see how it could be better than this sponge. |

Comments:This flocked sponge is bigger and better than the ones I have seen in the drug stores. It gives my voile powder a smoother look than my any of my brushes. I absolutely love it! |

Comments:This is my second sponge to order. Now I can have one drying and one in use !.
I use them primarily to apply the wonderful AL night time mmu Nocturne. But they work well for Glissade ,Voile, powder primer, smoothing after application, etc.
Much better application than drugstore rubbery sponges IMHO. |

Comments:I ordered this as a back-up to my Kabuki brush. The flocked sponge is a wonderful product; I get a deeper coverage with it. Most days I do use the brush. |

Comments:This is my favorite make-up tool. I'll never use a brush to apply my foundation again! It leaves my skin flawless, and my pores much less noticeable- especially when I use the wet application method. I wish I would have started using this sooner!
A bonus, is that its less mess than a brush--you don't have to dust you countertop off afterward with this. |

Comments:After three years of applying mineral foundations with brushes, I'm converted! The coverage and finish using the sponge are so much better. The sponge is easier to clean and dries quickly. |
