Aromaleigh Rocks! Sonic Rouge has arrived with impact! This collection of 8 clear, intense and simply divine cheek colors goes places that other rouges would never dare. Quite simply, they Rock!
These rouges are a top favorite on our customer forum, Aromaleigh Aficionadas. Our customers there are in adulation of these shades for their clear, pure color and the "lit from within" effect that it gives when applied sheerly with our fiber-optic blush brush.
Rocks Sonic Rouge is a Makeupalley.com TOP PICK! (MUA Top Picks). Read reviews here.
Like all Rocks! products, the colors are inspired by our favorite tunes...
The Rocks! cheek collection is the result of years and years of requests for more vivid colors. Yes, lots of women love the simplicity of mineral cosmetics and the creativity of loose powders and also have a yen for colors on the wild side!
Rocks! Sonic Rouge shades are packaged in 10 gm/approx. 3 gm net wt. clear sifter jars. (The same size as our regular eyeshadow jars)
Ingredients: mica(CI 77019), titanium dioxide(CI 77891), iron oxides(CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499). May contain polyester-3, D&C yellow 5, D&C orange 5, D&C blue 1, D&C red 40, calcium sodium borosilicate, ferric ferrocyanide (CI 77510), tin oxide (CI 77861).
Best application method ? Try our Fiber Optic Blush brush. This unique brush allows you to pick up intensely pigmented Rocks! Rouge and deposit it sheerly and beautifully on your cheeks. Want a more intense look? Then use a traditional blush brush. You can even add to your favorite lotion or primer and create a creamy blush shade!
Color Descriptions (as always, color is subjective and can easily shift from monitor to monitor. We offer samples of Rocks! Sonic Rouge so that you can try before purchasing a full size.
Rocks! Sonic Rouge is intensely pigmented and only the tiniest amount is needed. For this reason, we have chosen to package this particular product in the same size jar as the "mini jars" that our traditional mineral rouges, blushes, perles and bronzers are packaged in.
Our Rocks! Sonic Rouges are not shimmering, but they are not truly matte either. They have a very subtle luster.
firewoman: Intense, true red red!
femmefatale: A clear vivid watermelon shade.
breathless: Lush, clear bright pink.
candy-o: Wicked fuschia!
sundaygirl: Loud reddish tangerine. Don't be shy... just try!
sinisterrouge: A deep but vivid garnet burgundy.
wildflower: A warm purple with rich wine tones. Don't let it scare you, it's gorgeous on pale complexions!
cherrybomb: A warmer red than our 'firewoman"... but still divinely a perfect RED, especially on your cheeks!

Comments:I'm fairly new to Mineral Makeup, so when I sampled a few of these colors before, I thought they were too much for me. After browsing the forums and seeing photos of other ladies wearing them, I thought I'd give them another try. I picked up samples of Wildflower and Sinisterrouge, but this time I applied them with the fiber optic blush brush and a light hand, and found that these colors do, in fact, look quite natural and pretty on me. Wildflower also looks great as an eye color, and I think Sinisterrouge would probably make a great lip color, too! |

Comments:I was really reluctant to try this color because it is so bright, but a little goes a long way and it is a beautiful pink on the cheeks. |

Comments:I've had a few samples of the Rocks! rouges for some time, but when the recent additional 20% off sale came around I finally ordered a full set of full sizes. I AM NOT DISAPPOINTED! My skin is warm toned, and I generally favor the cooler colors for lips and cheeks, but every beautiful color in this collection is absolutely GORGEOUS on! They look incredibly bright in the jars, but tranform on the skin to the most beautiful, longest lasting rouges I have EVER used! Each day I've used a different color, applied before my 2W glissade, and each day I have fallen in love with a new color! If you have not tried these, you must! I am 47 years old, and will say again that these are the BEST rouges I have ever used! Imparts a natural flush of perfect color with very little product. Thanks, Miss K! |

Comments:Got breathless as a sample & I AM IN LOVE.I am very pale, wear 1N glissade foundation, & just a tiny pinch of this pink color with the fiber optic brush is so perfect. The brush makes it work best, I feel, since it doesn't overload on the color & this color is really intense. But a little goes a long way--I get compliments on my skin whenever I have it on. Aromaleigh is the best. |

Comments:I've tried all but Wildflower (I prefer pinks and reds to purple when it comes to makeup) and Sundaygirl (orange doesn't look good at all on me). Every color I've tried has been beautiful! Firewoman and Breathless are my favorites of the bunch, but they don't win out by much.It only takes a tiny, tiny dot gently stroked on with one of AL's fiber optic blush brushes and you've got a natural flush. Since it takes so little, a sample will last for ages. I transfer mine into empty 5 gram jars to make for easier applicaton. |

Comments:Reviewing again because I can wear almost every color, (except the 3 which I mixed to get a shade that I could wear). And so I just pick one of the beautiful shades to wear, and they always look natural but amazingly fresh and beautiful at the same time. Apply with a light hand and blend, blend, blend! |

Comments:I am reviewing these again...due to my love for them. :)I already own WildFlower(which I wear almost everyday...a holy grail for me) and FemmeFatale(beautiful watermelon shade, with very nice balance). But on to my recently purchased color, SinisterRouge. A beautiful shade indeed! I am fair (Glissade 1YL or 1WL) and this is just beautiful on me. I am never disappointed with these rouges and will continue to purchase more until I own all of them. |

Comments:I recently recieved a fullsize set of these blushes, and feel it's my duty to report: because these blushes are beautiful, and as long as you don't overdo it, they look complety natural.I have found several "my face, but better"-colours, and I can wear each and every one. Try some samples, I doubt you will be dissapointed. |

Comments:Rocks! Sonic Rouge in cherrybomb is a gorgous warm red, free of any shimmer or sparkle, which is what I prefer. It is highly pigmented and translucent, and I build the colour gradually with a duo fibre blush brush on top of my foundation. Applied very lightly it looks like a natural, healthy blush. As I only need to use a tiny ammount of product to achieve a good result, you cant really see that I am wearing any blush, yet it has great staying power and is still right where I put it on in the morning when I remove my makeup in the evening.I use very little product for each application and my full size pot is going to last a very long time. I love everything about this product! |

Comments:I ended up buying all of the colors except sundaygirl, cherrybomb, and breathless. I have a fair, warm/neutral complexion, with a bit of redness on parts of my cheeks. Therefore, powder first, (to neutralize uneven red) then blush. Here are my thoughts on the colors: (I ordered the sample pack also)Nice, but you need a REALLY light hand with fair complexions (otherwise they don't look good) : firewoman, candy-o Great for fair skined people (and even with warm toned skin, try the samples!): femmefatale, sinisterrouge, wildflower A couple thoughts about wildflower: you might think purple, huh? But really, how many people blush pink pink? Since the blush is translucent when applied lightly, it looks like a NATURAL blush (at least on pale winter skin). On me, cherrybomb looked like the rosacae-esc bits on my cheeks that I already have, so no on that one, but I bet it would look great on darker skin. Breathless looked fake pink on me. And Sundaygirl looked orange on me. However, another reviewer said that Sundaygirl looked pink on them, so you've just gotta try the samples! K, that's my essay |

Comments:I love to self tan & I want my face to have that pinkish, had a little too much sun look. I had found it with a regular pressed powder, but I really wanted a mineral makeup. In my search for this, I found these sonic rouge colors. I got breathless & candy-o, not knowing which would be closest to my pressed color. They both work!! I use a mineral bronzer & use the sonic rouge over it and it looks like i've had too much sun on my cheeks!!!! I love it and would recommend this to anyone. If your a self tanner, give this a try. They are wonderful!!!! |

Comments:This is a really nice color, but it doesn't go so great with my skin tone. I've got really light skin with lots of yellow undertones. I've used it as an eyeshadow, though, and it's helped me create alot of awesome looks! |

Comments:I love wildflower, candyo, and firewoma. . . but i'm especially crazy for sinisterrouge.Use the fiber optic blush brush and you can get as subtle of a blush as you like. They are matte so no shimmer if you don't want to shimmer. Best natural looking blush EVER! You'd never believe it from the color of the pigment, but they are incredibly natural. Samples are huge and will last forever. |

Comments:I have this blush in Wildflower and Sundaygirl. I know they look scary in the packaging, but they're great on. Use a fiber optic blush brush and just get a tiny amount and then sweep it on your cheeks for amazing color. You'll look great. I think Wildflower is perfect on pale skin, and Sundaygirl is great on warmer toned pale skin. |

Comments:Beautiful color. But I differ with the description. It is described as a red. Looking at it on my fiber optic brush....it is a hot fuchsia. No ifs, ands, or butts. I like the color though, so no complaints there. My only other problem with it, is that it is one of those highly pigmented colors where one stroke too many, and you have passed the point of no return. I would prefer a less pigmented blush that I can build with, instead of one that leaves the darkest mark exactly where you lightly touch your fiber optic brush. Many times I have had clown cheeks... So it's just hard to apply. 2 to 3 grains MAX on your brush is all you should have.... Doesnt mean you shouldnt try it if you can wear a fuchsia. On lightly, it's hard to tell that it's fuchsia....just looks like you're blushing.... But I take it back, you can tell it's PINK....as opposed to RED. If you are looking for a blood red...this isnt it. |

Comments:Hands down my favorite cheek color ever. It's red! Which sounds scary, but it looks stunning. I highly recommend using a fiber-optic blush brush with the Rocks rouges, as you only need a tiny bit and it's easy to over do it with a regular brush. |

Comments:I took a chance and ordered Wildflower because of the reviews. It looked scary "purple" on the website and even when I received the sample baggie but when I applied a few sprinkles of it on my cheeks it was this nice "pink" shade. I'm quite happy I took the gamble. I used a fiber optic brush for this since you only need a little. 5 stars here. |

Comments:These are very very pigmented colors so only a teeny tiny amount goes a long long way with a fibre optic brush. Be prepared that the colors are so bright they can look deceptively scary at first.SUNDAY GIRL looks vermillion/orangey in the swatch but on me it's more "straight red"... This is my least favorite of the three that I have sampled because I was hoping it would be more orangey/coral. FEMME FATALE looks super bright scary fluorescent pink in pigment form, but on my skin, I am always pleasantly surprised how natural it looks. BREATHLESS is my favorite so far... the swatch shows a COOL pink and the pigment color is even brighter than FEMME FATALE but rest assured, warm-toned ladies, it isn't as cool as you expect, when on skin. Once again I am pleasantly surprised how gorgeous and natural BREATHLESS looks on my cheeks. A really vibrant and pretty pink flush that makes me feel all girlie... |

Comments:I have been wanting to try these for a while. So I purchased Wildflower, which looks like a scary bright purple, but on my light complected skin, it turns a lovely wine/pink color. Really Pretty!! and it literally takes only a small dot with the fiber optic brush. thanks |

Comments:i was never much impressed by blush until i got a sample shade of wildflower on a whim. i am extremely pale with a pink hint to my skin and this is just such a beautiful color - a very unique but natural flush, and if applied more heavily, extremely dramatic and exotic. not only that but it applies so well and stays all day. really. i'm in love. |

Comments:I have always loved the look of a healthy, post-workout flush - it not only makes me look younger, but it just makes me feel good. Rocks! Sonic Rouge in Firewoman is absolutely the perfect color to achieve the look I crave. First of all, it is so intensely pigmented that you only need a tiny bit, so my little jar will last forever. Secondly, it stays put all day - I can put it on in the morning and even after chasing after my toddler all day (and the hundreds of kisses I get from her!) it still looks great in the evening. I absolutely adore this stuff! |

Comments:Since I am so pale, I thought that surely these blushes would be way too bright for me. However, after reading some ideas on the forums, I tried a sample of femmefatale and firewoman. I absolutely LOVE femmefatale -- when applied very sheerly with the Fiber Optic brush underneath my foundation, this gives me a lovely natural glow! firewoman applied in the same way is good for a "fresh in from the cold" red cheeks look. And of course you can still apply them more heavily for a very bright and wild look. Give these blushes a try -- you might be pleasantly surprised! |

Comments:I tried femme fatale and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it would be way too bright and dark for me. I used it under my mmu the first time, Looked like a natural cheek color on me.I also tried it over my mmu with a fiber optic brush. That worked equally well. Now I need to try a few other of the blush samples in Rocks I got ! |

Comments:The ROCKS! blushes are just what my mineral makeup collection needed - such a fantastic collection of super fun colors that are so mood inspiring. Depending on the brush you use to apply them, you can go from a barely there hint of color, to an all-out intense flush, and anywhere else in between. Here's a list of a few of my favorites - Firewoman - please don't be afraid of this one - imo, it's the world's most perfect wearable red blush - it always gives me that "classic, Ralph Lauren all-American beauty" look. Sundaygirl - this one is my California Dreamin' blush - for that California surfer beach-babe look. Femmefatale - this one is my "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" blush - it's such a perfect sweet n' innocent, sunny-day, summer picnic pink. Sinisterrouge - this is my "Victorian doll" cheeks blush - it's really such a gorgeous winter berry color - and imo, it's a year-round must have, but especially during the holidays. Cherrybomb - this one is my "I've been sitting by a roaring fire on that 1st crisp autumn night" blush - it's such a wonderful warm, fall harvest festival color. Try some - the sample sizes are very generous! |

Comments:I got the sampler pack and I'd never think I could wear this color or that it would be my perfect shade, but the purple one, Wildflower is just my perfect blush for my coloring. I have deep auburn hair and dark blue eyes. These colors work best with a very fluffy brush as they are very pigmented. They are beautiful also when I use them with clear lipbalm, like lip stain I have from Benefit. I recommend the sampler set, you won't be disapointed! |
