Choose from 28 smooth, matte shadow shades for your lovely eyes.

Our mineral cosmetic eye colors contain no talc or fillers, synthetic preservatives, mineral oil or any synthetics that don't need to be there... just pure color! As a result you get silky smooth, lightweight, breatheable shadows that glide on effortlessly, wear throughout the day or night, and don't crease!

We highly recommend high quality makeup brushes or sponge applicators for ease of application. Can be applied wet or dry for varying effects. If you have very dry or oily eyelids, you may find the use of an eyeshadow primer to be necessary. Check out our Eyeshadow primer. You may also find it helpful to apply extra moisturizer to your eye area if dry, or if oily, apply a layer of Pure Cover Concealer with a taklon brush.

Ingredients: Serecite mica powder (CI 77019), titanium dioxide (CI 77891) and purified cosmetic grade pigments such as iron oxides (CI 77499, CI 77491, CI 77492), ultramarine blue, ultramarine violet, ultramarine pink (CI 77007), chromium oxide green (CI 77288), hydrated chromium oxide (CI 77289) and manganese violet (CI 77742)

Size: .Approx. 1.2 grams net weight (weight varies slightly from color to color), Sample baggie= 1/16 teaspoon (enough for several applications). These are packaged in what is commonly known amongst mineral makeup fans as a "5 gram jar". They contain a sifter with seal.

Ebony
By Tasha on June 6, 2009

Comments:

This is the best black shade for lining the eyes when I want a subtle and natural everyday look. It works perfect with the eyeliner sealant. I have super oily skin and eyelids and have never been able to wear eyeliner without it smudging or looking like racoon eyes. Ebony and/ or with the sealant is the best eyeliner that I have ever tried. It does not smudge and it lasts all day. I love it! :)
Wonderful Mattes!
By Decorative Diva on May 25, 2009

Comments:

I'd been hesitant to use mattes because I always found them difficult to apply evenly and blend well. Aromaleigh's mattes apply easily, blend well, and are beautiful! Ice is my current favorite as it is so versatile!
chocolate
By Alex on April 19, 2009

Comments:

Chocolate turned very orangey on my warm skin tone. Not really brown. Really a muted orange. I wish there were a brown in this collection with the same depth as chocolate that didn't turn orange. Maybe I'll try mixing chocolate with a cooler toned matte.
Moss!
By Kelly on April 7, 2009

Comments:

Moss is a great eyeliner and stays put all day. I have green eyes. Very special color.
Nice Product!
By Sharon on March 24, 2009

Comments:

I received a very good amount of product in the eye color containers. As I stated previously, I am using this product to use in a 'mix' with my mineral makeup as a kaleidoscope effect. I purchased green, blue and yellow, I already had a rose color that I used also. It works well!
Umber
By Rachel Lindsay on February 27, 2009

Comments:

This is the perfect brown for lining th eyes. It's a neutral or slightly cool brown and very, very dark. I love it because that OTHER brand has a dark brown that's way too orange and light colored to be attractive. Umber is perfect! It goes on in a perfect smooth line and remains clear all day. A tiny bit goes a very long way. Apply dry, with the Taklon liner brush for a perfect line every time
Love Moss
By Sue on February 23, 2009

Comments:

Moss is the perfect eyeliner color for my hazel eyes. Lasts all day.
Fawn is perfection
By Laura Mettler on January 30, 2009

Comments:

I have brown eyes, wear Glissade 3CL and I use fawn as an eyeshadow base and undereye brightener. It just evens out the tones of my lid and undereye area. It looks great by itself or as the "foundation" for different eyeshadows.
Lovely Latte, Grape, Eggplant, Ebony and Umber
By Decorative Diva on November 8, 2008

Comments:

I had never tried matte eye shadow before ordering AL's. I found the colors surprisingly easy to work with, and I was worried that they'd be difficult. But like all AL products, they apply easily and blend with ease. I have tried Latte, Umber, Ebony, Grape and Eggplant. I love these colors.
Matte Mineral Eyeshadow

Comments:

I've used this for several years and cannot find the same color anywhere but at Aromaleigh. I'm so happy to find a matte shadow in miineral makeup.
Goldenrod
By Joelle on October 22, 2008

Comments:

I had been looking and looking for a golden color which was matte, yet not a pale lemon yellow shade that would dissappear on my skin tone. This shade is the closest to looking like a true goldenrod shade that I have ever encountered. If you want a matte shadow that picks up golden flecks in the iris- this might make a great choice!
Eggplant
By Andrea on October 10, 2008

Comments:

I'm using this color to line my green eyes. It is a beautiful deep purple/black. Just perfect. I love the option of a matte purple eyeliner shade. This one is perfect! Purchased a sample and will order to keep a good supply on hand. This will be a staple for me.

Ice, Fog, graphite and Ebony
By Sandra on October 3, 2008

Comments:

Inspiring me of one of Melissa featuring look, I tried those one for a smocky eye everyday look. It is just perfect easy to blend, not to spreading everywhere on my so hard to perfect foundation!!!
Simply one of the nicest matte minerals I tried (on a shadow base).
The ice sample was a bit smaller than the ohter one anyway!
pure eyes mattes. . . .
By marti on October 3, 2008

Comments:

love all I've received! really brighten my tired looking eyes. aromaleigh does rock!
Fog
By Jocelyn on September 30, 2008

Comments:

Fog is a medium-toned and versatile grey. The shadow texture is quite nice, soft and easy to build to opaque coverage. It's on the cool side for my warm skin tone, but Fog has spurred me to try more of Aromaleigh's matte shadows.
Flattering Color
By Bernadette A Lewicke on September 8, 2008

Comments:

I love the matte shadows the colors are so rich and you can control the lightness and darkness by how much you apply. It's light and airy and your eyse don't look like you have heavy 60's eyemakeup, especially the darker colors. You can go light during the day and darker for evening. The texture is fine and the hnt of color is just as pretty when applied lightly. It's just enough to play up your eyes and it enhances anot overpowers your eyes. beautiful shades with lots to choose from.
Great!
By LF on September 7, 2008

Comments:

A really lovely product! I've tried a number of shades as samples, and have purchased both Copen and Midnight in full sizes -- which will probably last me for YEARS. Their pigments are pretty intense, so a little goes a long way.

I do have a little trouble with creasing in very humid weather -- but I have that problem with *all* eye makeup. (And again -- that's only in really, really humid weather.)

Love this..no creases for 'mature' eylids with a gently hand and this shadow
Sea Foam is Great!
By Zhariel on July 30, 2008

Comments:

I'm not normally one for mattes, but I received Sea Foam as a free sample and I actually love it!
Pure Eyes Matte Mineral Eyeshadow
By Karissa on June 22, 2008

Comments:

I love, love, love this eyeshadow! It goes on smoothly and resists creasing ALL DAY.
LOVE it!
By Susan on June 22, 2008

Comments:

The color goes on a bit darker than pictured, but I really love it. It stays on - with or without the primer. Very nice product!
Cornflower
By Brittany McIntosh on March 9, 2008

Comments:

Very easy to apply, lovely color, smooth finish.
Best Blue?
By gajowskich on March 2, 2008

Comments:

ok, I ordered this because I had a sample, but haven't used it much since I found that the drama teal and gel peacock liners do more for me. But if you want an eye-brightening blue, this should do it.
Lovely Mattes
By green3 on February 25, 2008

Comments:

These are THE smoothest, softest, most blendable matte e/s I have tried. I have wheat, hyacinth, iris, and the LE YAD mattes, and they are all beautiful colors too. I like the look of an all-matte eye or matte e/s blended with frosts. They are really versatile and gorgeous. I agree with those who say they make a nice base for other e/s. My lids tend to get oily, so that works well for me. Definitely try a shade from this collection, you won't regret it!
peach
By fairnymph on November 30, 2007

Comments:

This is a wonderful neutral peach - great for a bit of 'warmth' on cool skin tones like mine. I didn't think I could wear this sort of shade but I received it as a sample and loved it so much I bought a full size. It's light but not sheer; it has great holding powder is wonderful for daily wear.
Very Nice
By Lin on October 4, 2007

Comments:

These matte colors are very flattering to my "Mature" skin. I wear mattes a lot - sometimes a lighter matte with a more intense matte as a contour, sometimes I contour with a matte and use a frost or Rocks! as a base.
Nice eyeshadows
By Jennifer on September 25, 2007

Comments:

I don't like matte eyeshadows so the only time I wear these is when I get a free sample with an order and want to experiment with it. I always layer a shimmery shadow on top of them. The colors I've tried have been a good quality if you like matte shadows though! Grape is a great crease color for a purple look, and I like combining Vapor with a shimmery white shadow like Moon Pure Hue and using it on the inner corner of my lid. I do need to use an eyeshadow primer if I want these to last all day though.
Pure Eyes Matte Shadow
By Joni on September 21, 2007

Comments:

Another Product I love. I have sensitive eyes and this shadow is non irritating. I don't use any other brand. Highly recommend it. It stays on me with or without primer.
goldenrod matte
By Jane on September 5, 2007

Comments:

I use Goldenrod matte shadow a lot. I find it works well to tone down redness when I mix it with Illuminator powder and use over cheeks, chin, nose.
I can also use Goldenrod as a spot concealor under mmu.
And certainly it is an nice matte shadow for a base color .
Disappointed
By Elisa on August 30, 2007

Comments:

The latte looked like a nice brown but is orange on. The fawn looked beige and is pink. Not quite as described either.
Loved it!!
By Denise on August 22, 2007

Comments:

I loved the eyeshadow. I bought one dark enough to use as an eyeliner.... it works great both ways.
Umber
By mel on August 15, 2007

Comments:

perfect eyeliner and brow filler for my 2yl complexion with dark brown hair.
flaxen
By mel on August 15, 2007

Comments:

perfect eye shadow base. I have reddish eyelids and this covers the red. It works well with all other shades. My perfect base for 2yl complexion.

All of your eyeshadows are great, including the colors I did not think would look good on me, but they did.
Eyeliner/shadow
By Vicky on July 15, 2007

Comments:

The product is long lasting and the colors have a lot of depth. Your eyeliners are among my favorites!
Moss
By Lynn on July 1, 2007

Comments:

Matt Moss - perfect as a liner. I have green/brown hazel eyes, and this really pops the green. Sometimes I mix it with other colors to change it a bit, but it has become my "normal" liner color.
Mineral Makeup: Aromaleigh Pure Eyes Matte Eyeshadow
By Kerry Hernandez on June 22, 2007

Comments:

Unbelievable! I never would have thought it could work this well.
Umber
By Lynn on May 31, 2007

Comments:

PERFECT "not-too" color. Not too brown, not too grey, not too black, etc. I use this nearly everyday when I just want a natural, neutral liner. I even use it to fill in my eyebrows, and works perfectly. Next on my list from this grouping - moss. I got a sample and love it for my hazel brown-green eyes.
Good stuff
By Elaine on May 29, 2007

Comments:

I love these for everyday. You have your neutrals, of course, but also more playful colors to have fun with, without the sparkle. Good stuff.
Umber
By Perdita on April 26, 2007

Comments:

Best eyeliner I've ever found.. use it wet with the thin liner brush, then go over it with a stroke of eyeliner sealant. Delightful!
Matte Eyeshadow
By Jackie Robinson on April 12, 2007

Comments:

I recently read some compliments to this line at www.specktra.net, so I decided to go see Aromaleigh! My way to test is to order a bunch of eyeshadows in different shades that I can tell will be "my" colors. When I tried them, I find them to have a very creamy smooth (even though they are dry powder) application, and when I played with them in the evening, the shade I tried was still on the next morning! I can't say enough good about them!
matt shadow
By colleen on March 14, 2007

Comments:

love this product for under gel eyeliner, but more for a really nice soft line under eyes. stays on and it's just the right amount to define.
Matte shadows
By WD on March 3, 2007

Comments:

These are some of my favorites. Since I do have a lot of oil on my eyelids, these seem to have the most staying power without creasing. There is a great selection. You can get some pretty intese color with these as well. I have also been able to use flaxen as a yellow mix with my foundation to help with brightening my look.
Brightens
By Rusty on January 12, 2007

Comments:

This is the perfect "highlighter " any woman needs for the face brightening, eye lifting, WOW, awake look you desire! I use this EVERY morning !
Love these purple shades!
By Serpents*kiss on January 10, 2007

Comments:

I got samples of all the purples to try and these are wonderful matte shadows. They did not crease on me and were easy to apply and blend. Very beautiful colors, especially kiss, wisteria and grape. Eggplant I used as an eyeliner. Iris or hyacinth to highlight. these purples made my eyes pop. They wore very well. I recommend these matte eyeshadows!
