Pure Cover: A full coverage mineral cosmetic concealer powder.
For best results, apply Pure Cover over well moisturized skin, allowing the powder to blend in more suitably. You may also find mixing Pure Cover mineral makeup with a small amount of your favorite serum, creme or other fixed oil provides the best results for you. For more application tips and tricks visit our "Mineral Makeup How To" page or the Aromaleigh Aficionadas customer forum.
While the barrier ingredients in this mineral cosmetic product do provide natural barrier protection from the sun, we are unable to assign a specific SPF without extensive testing. Being a small company, we can't afford this costly testing and still offer you great prices on minerals, so we have chosen not to specify any SPF.
Like all Aromaleigh mineral cosmetics, this formulation is free of Bismuth Oxychloride. This ingredient is what gives most mineral brands their silky, creamy feel- and lead many to believe that a powder is "higher quality" or "more finely milled"... but this is not the case. This ingredient has a totally different feel and texture than the ingredients that make up Aromaleigh products... so don't be fooled by your sense of touch. If Bismuth Oxychloride causes you to itch or break out, then your only option is to choose a mineral makeup product that does not contain it. Aromaleigh uses Titanium dioxide and Zinc oxide to replace Bismuth compounds. Zinc oxide is a valuable ingredient to boost coverage, provide broader spectrum sun protection and also benefits the skin as an anti-inflammatory and having a healing effect on blemishes.

Comments:For a powder concealer, Pure Cover does indeed cover but it's not as opaque as a cream concealer. It's best for spot concealing because it doesn't feel silky to me. Just for experimentation purposes, I applied it all over my face as foundation and it was very drying on my surpremely oily skin. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a color match or experienced any success in mixing up my own match. I ordered #3-#7 and none of them matched. There are only 2 warm options offered and #5 (fair buff yellow) is too pale and yellow while #7 (medium warm beige) is too dark and pink. The rest of the shades I tried were too pink. I tried mixing #5 and #7 in varying ratios, but my mix was still too pink. If I could find some way to darken #5 without making it pink, I could create a match. I wear 2.5 W or Y in Aromaleigh foundation, so I'm puzzled why I haven't found success in mixing up a concealer match. |

Comments:concealer is one of those "functional" products that doesn't usu get a lot of attention unless it's not doing its job properly - fortunately, this does! I use a roughly 50/50 blend of #5 and #1, and while I don't have major dark circles to cover, this does brighten my eyes and help make me look more rested and refreshed than I feel sometimes...! I never have to worry about it caking up under my eyes, either - this is one product I always order WELL in advance of running low on so I can be sure I never run out... |

Comments:This concealer is great! It is the only thing that I've found that make my skin nearly flawless. I have found that by slightly wetting my brush before dipping the powder makes it stick to the brush and create a sort of paste for an even better coverage. |

Comments:I already sent in one review for Pure Cover, but since writing it I made a wonderful discovery. Pure Cover actually heals my blemishes!Apparently the zinc in it is just what my skin needs (spot treatments don't generally work for me, so I have to wait the little pests out), because the next day after using Pure Cover all I have is a little redness, no bump and no pain. I'm sure that everyone's skin has its own idiosyncrasies and that it probably won't work for everyone the way it does me, but I had to share because I'm shocked and thrilled to have finally found something that can heal my blemishes (I rarely get them, but when I do I want them gone as fast as possible). And not only that, it's got the added bonus of this being a concealer (and a fairly good one at that). |

Comments:I rarely use concealer, but since my skin has a habit of breaking out when I'm stressed out, I figured I should have some on hand (rather than use my traditional cosmetic concealer, which doesn't seem right to me if I'm going to use it with my mineral foundation).Well, my skin decided to grace me with a few lovely blemishes on my chin/lower jaw and Pure Cover #3 got its first trial by fire. I have to admit that I'm amazed that a powder concealer can stick to my skin so well. The coverage is good, much more natural than many traditional liquid concealers I've tried and made the redness of my blemishes disappear. Granted, it can't do anything for the bumps, but at least they're not as obvious anymore. I'm a 50/50 mix of 2CL and 3CL in Glissade and #3 was a fairly good match and blended in easily with just a small taklon concealer brush. I don't think I'll need more than a sample of Pure Cover to last me quite a while, but $7 is a reasonable price for a full container. |

Comments:I use #6 as spot treatment for my blemishes. Lately I've been acne prone, so I've been having to deal with having random, red blemishes. This product does a great job of toning down the redness they have and blends very easily. I use it over my Porcelaine and use a dusting of Glissade to bring it all together, and my face looks much, much cleaner, and a lot healthier. |

Comments:You can see from my headline that I absolutely adore this product. I have red undertones and it (# 9) covers it so well. This is definetly better then the vert in my opinion. I have never had a better concealer. It looks great under the glissade. I am hooked! My skin looks flawless. I get compliments from strangers all the time....A must try! |

Comments:I really like this concealer. It is not too heavy, but gives good coverage. I apply with a cosmetic sponge, then set with a light application of Pure Cover mineral powder #6, then top with blush. I have reordered the concealer & mineral powder several times. Important to me: no parabens! |

Comments:I have been using this concealer for several years now and absolutely love it. It covers blemishes and dark marks from past breakouts amazingly well and still looks natural. I love that this concealer does not contribute to my acne issues and I believe it helps my skin heal slightly faster from breakouts. I use shade #3 and it is a great match for my skin tone. (I use Voile 2N.) I seem to have a different application process than others who left reviews. I apply Voile first and then the Pure Cover. The Pure Cover applies best with a small concealer brush. That way a thin layer can be applied so my skin looks like skin and not like I have powder caked on thickly. Additional thin layers can be added to build up to the coverage I need on that particular day. Great product! |

Comments:This does cover but not completely. I use it under my eyes and some of my circles still come through. I tried to use it around my nose to help conceal the red, but it just made my pores stand out, so I don't recommend it for that. |

Comments:i've been using pure cover as a concealer for years and I even have my mom using it now. It covers up all my imperfections and almost makes them dissapear. I have a fair irish complexion w/ lots of ruddy tones to my skin, #5 seems to counteract the red perfectly and this works soo much better than any liquid concealer I've tried. I apply a powder foundation 1st ,then use an eyeshadow applicator to dab on pure cover where I need it, then I set that with a liitle more powder foundation on a brush and I'm good to go. |

Comments:This is the best concealer I have ever used. Now that I am getting older and have fine lines and dark circles under my eyes, not just any concealer will do. Most of them just make the fine lines stand out even more. But Pure Cover is perfect for this problem and it seems to last all day. |

Comments:for reference, #5 looks a bit dark for us fair-light girls, but it's much lighter once on the skin. it does, however, cover everything if you apply it sparingly. adding too much at one time can cause a dry looking patch on blemishes. a little goes a long way and like i said, it covers almost all imperfections. for me, i use Pure Cover first then use my Voile foundation to blend everything together and to add a bit of color.i never knew my skin could look this good...i sure have been missing out when i used any other concealer. A+++ =) |

Comments:I like to touch up an occasional blemish and I have very dark allergy shadows under my eyes. I tried no 1 and no. 4. Neither one is right. The 2 & 3 didn't look right online, They used to have a bigger selection; you could match your voile exactly. I now use a combination of a little cover and a coat of my Glissade ove it, but I'm disappointed they don't have the large selection they used to. |

Comments:Really great product. I reviewed before and said it wasn't as good as Bare Escentuals 'Bisque'. I was wrong. I just had the wrong shade. I am a Glissade 1CL, and this works perfectly for cover-ups and mixed in with foundation for a flawless finish. I mixed a small amount of #9 (green) in with #2 in a seperate jar for redness and it works great. I feel like by itself it's too green. Again, this is a quality product and I will never touch Bare Escentuals again. Just make sure to get the right shade. |

Comments:I love this product. It covers excellently. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't come in enough shades. It makes my skin too pink (the neutral shade) and (the yellow shade) makes my skin too yellow. Luckily, yellow coquille mixed with the #2 works perfectly to cover all my blemishes. |

Comments:I have dark, purplish circles under my eyes that have gotten worse with age. The skin is thin and crepey and the stick concealers I've tried have looked gummy. The Pure Cover Concealer goes on easily and really diminishes the circles. After I apply foundation I can hardly see them, and the coverage lasts all day! I feel so much better about how I look, I love this product! |

Comments:It's very hard to find the perfect concealer. It is a very individual process. Right now, this with the primer under it is working for me. It is covering the circles and minimizing the lines under my eyes. I also use this concealer as a base for my eye shadow colors. It is very effective at helping the shadows keep from creasing throughout the day and helps them go on very smooth! |

Comments:Pure Cover #5 is just the right shade for my 2yl skin. It covers all my red areas perfectly. I tried #9 but it's too green for me no matter how lightly I apply it under my foundation. Comments:It is SO hard to match my skin tone, much less my daughter's. We are both very pale with pink/blue undertones and most products have yellow undertones which just looks orange on us. Aromaleigh makes wonderful colors to match all skin tones and the Pure Concealer does a great job at concealing without standing out. It also does a great job at undereye concealment without looking dry and cakey. Love it! |

Comments:It definitely conceals well, I call it my Little Eraser. The only problem I have is that there seems to be separate red pigment that will sometimes make a red streak on my skin during application. And since this powder sticks to my face really well, the red streak sticks very well too! Sometimes, the streak is very tiny/fine so I don't notice it right away (kind of looks like a burst capillary that some might have around your nose or in a thin-skinned area). Also, the shade was not what I expected, but I'm used to that - that's buying cosmetics online for ya. But once you find your proper shade, this sh*t is like magic! |

Comments:This is a good concealor, and it definitely has more coverage than my normal Voile foundation. Even though the color selection is small, you can easily mix shades to find a better color for you. I used #1 mixed with just a touch of #5, and it was a close match to my normal Alabaster+1W foundation mix. My only complaint about this concealor is that you could often tell it was a different texture even if I applied it under my Voile. If I didn't do an excellent job of blending, you could see a weird spot that looked more matte and/or more powdery than the rest of my face. I've since switched to Aromaleigh's Cream Concealor, which is easier to blend in and hide underneath my Voile. |
