Happy Skin

Comments: For me, this has been worth every penny. It's fantastic ! My skin tends towards extremes of oily, and I used to wake up to slimy skin. Yuck ! Since using this each night, I wake up with barely a hint of oiliness , plus fewer oil problems during the day. ( especially when combined with the silk powder primer under my foundation. Great stuff. ) My skin also looks more even in tone and my old acne scars look less obvious and therefore I feel less weird about them. My skin's texture feels more refined too, making it feel smooth and supple. Plus it doesn't clog my pores , which makes me VERY pleased . Actually, nothing I've used from Aromaleigh has clogged my pores, which has been a problem for me with other cosmetics. Any breakouts have been less severe than in the past, and even those seem to be less and less frequent. The only thing I've done differently is use Aromaleigh , so all I can say is WHOO HOO! Thank you, thank you, thank you !

At first I was skeptical and didn't really think that Nocturne was doing anything for my skin. But I kept on using it and now I can really tell the difference. My skin has always been acne prone and I have some older acne scars. My scars have faded really nicely and it really keeps any break outs at bay.

It is a bit pricey, but I've been using it since April, and have just now purchased my second jar. Great stuff!

Comments: I really can't add much more to the accolades for this stuff, except... if you haven't tried wearing it in the day, you should. It gives my skin a wonderful glow and feel under my foundation. The original formula works great with my 2PL Glissade, but if you are lighter in complexion, try the new "lite" shade of Nocturne for all-day use.

It always makes my face way too shiny when I apply it with the flocked sponge, as suggested. Otherwise, it does help absorb excess oil overnight, and even out my skintone. I'm 46, with normal/dry cheeks and normal/oily t-zone. I've used the BE version at $60, and this is very comparable, except for the "glow factor" the mica causes. If there has ever been a wonder product to keep skin beautiful and healthy, Nocturne is it, hands down.

Since I've started using it religiously every night, my face and neck have cleared up so much. I'd say I have about 10% of the break outs that I used to have.

What convinced me that Nocturne is a wonder powder is the absence of the horrible break outs I get when I work out. Several weeks ago, I started skiing 60 minutes 5 days a week on my Nordic Track. Usually when I work out & sweat so much, my face & neck go ballistic with all kinds of acne; big angry red cysts, small hard painful cysts, tons of blackheads & clogged pores, nasty whiteheads and angry red little whiteheads, all with in less than a week.

Nothing would clear it up but daily doses of tetracycline or doxicycline.

I was bracing to end up going to my doctor to get an RX for antibiotics and had even set an appointment to be seen, but I didn't need an RX this time because my skin didn't go ballistic. The only skin care product that I am using now, that I have not used in the past is Nocturne.

Comments: I was skeptical when I first tried this about a year ago but I am now never w/o this product.This helps keep my breakouts in check and I have noticed it keeps my oil production in check. This also works wonders on my moms 47 year old skin.She has some large pores and redness and the occasional breakout.This has also helped to regulate her skin and make it look wonderful again.

i did a review probably last year. good reviews but for some reason, i quit using it. it just got lost in the shuffle of my medicine cabinet.

It definitely helps ALOT with the acne and skin discoloration. After a few times, It dawned on me to dip the massage head into the nocturne powder to add a little something extra to this massage routine. Wow. I noticed really incredible results within a few days - my pores were less visible, there is an evenness to my skin tone, even my acne scars/pock marks were less visible. I've even included this as part of my make up foundation. It's great. I just finished massaging my face a few minutes ago. The difference before and after is incredible.

I tried this as an overall face treatment and wasn't real excited, so it sat in my drawer for a while. A couple of months later, I developed acne along my jaw line, that were slowly healing with my Rx products. I started using Nocturne with #5 cover to cover the spots. In just a couple of days the blemishes healed and are smooth. I am still dealing with the pigmentation, but I am not self conscious. The pigmenting is just me, not the product. There's not enough magic in the world for me to avoid the post-acne pigmenting. Nocturne and Cover #5 are my new routine acne treatment for day. I'm definitely buying a full size to use as a night treatment, day primer, and acne cover.

Comments: I'm amazed at how this stuff controls the oil production in my skin. I wear it at night, with nothing else on my skin. I recently tried wearing a little under my AL foundation, and again, it really helped control oil production. I wore it alone, without moisturizer underneath. Great stuff!

Comments: Great stuff, but I don't use it at night. I use this and blend with my mineral makeup for a nice, but not sparkly sheen - making it a "treatment" makeup every day all day. I don't like to use anything but moisturizer at night, but this stuff - has soooooo many more uses....highlighter, mineral makeup color adjuster (lightening) under eye circle disguise, blemish cover - love it, will probably buy again and again. The texture is also smoother than the mineral makeup which is a definite plus in my book.

Comments: This product didn't cause any change (better or worse) in my skin quality. It feels good, but I do just as well putting nothing on my oily, roscea/excema problem skin at night. I do love the foundations, just disappointed that this overnight treatment didn't work for me.

Comments: ok, when I first tried this i gave a bad review, but since it was just layin on my bathroom shelf I thought I would try it again. My first tip is not to apply it too thick because if you are fair it will look too dark on you, and I don\'t think you need that much. It helps to heal blemishes, close pores, maybe strengthen skin? smooth skin, and improve the clarity/skin tone. That\'s pretty good actually:) I expect instant results from a product, and I saw a difference in a few uses. I use my face lotion under this! I tried it without and my skin was just dry and sad, and i wash it off in the morning. I decided to review this product again becasue I DID notice a difference with pores and my skins strength, and thats pretty cool from a powder:)

ok, when I first tried this i gave a bad review, but since it was just layin on my bathroom shelf I thought I would try it again. My first tip is not to apply it too thick because if you are fair it will look too dark on you, and I don\'t think you need that much. It helps to heal blemishes, close pores, maybe strengthen skin? smooth skin, and improve the clarity/skin tone. That\'s pretty good actually:) I expect instant results from a product, and I saw a difference in a few uses. I use my face lotion under this! I tried it without and my skin was just dry and sad, and i wash it off in the morning. I decided to review this product again becasue I DID notice a difference with pores and my skins strength, and thats pretty cool from a powder:)

I have a tendency toward VERY DRY and ULTRA SENSITIVE skin and all year round, unfortunately. I was using another product from another brand, which was good, but I find AL's to be much better...I love the tint which is perfection for my light-medium skin tone as even a sheer foundation. I am prone to redness and all kinds of irritations and I find this product to be very beneficial for me. It helps tone down the redness and even out the blotchiness. My skin doesn't feel dry, heavy, itchy or irritated in any way while using Nocturne. I actually feel it help sooth any irritations that are going on. I've already ordered a backup and I'm nowhere near 1/4 of the way through my jar. I'll use the flocked sponge sometimes, especially for night time application, but for under my foundation or as a sheer foundation, I prefer using a synthetic kabuki or fluffier flat top brush. I recommend this product to everyone. =D

Comments: i was kind of iffy about this. i didn't notice any vast improvements for a while (roughly a month), but now i'm starting to see the difference. i can really tell in my photos. my acne is slightly better & skin tone is leveling out. i'm not using as much foundation as well, which is always a plus. i will definitely re-purchase.

Comments: I have been using Murad for my adult acne, but I still had some blemishes on my neck. Nothing helped until I used Nocturne. This treatment helped dry up those stubborn pimples. This stuff is great - I went straight to full size. The biggest difference I notice in using Nocturne is how balanced my skin feels. I often use high strength AHAs, BHAs and retinoids - sometimes in conjunction with each other. I've got resistant skin, and it takes a LOT to see a difference, hence the remove the paint from your walls concoctions. Anyway, those high powered actives can leave the surface of my skin cracked and crazed a little bit. Not a good look, really. Nocturne somehow prevents that from happening. Light, airy, easy to apply, works great even under my eyes and on my lids.

Around my eyes I do like to follow up with the Soothing Flowers or plain lip balm, for added protection during the Montana winter - very cold, dry, and using gas forced air heat, which is dehydrating. Nocturne keeps my skin smooth and soft and balanced.

I bought 2 sample baggies to try... got my samples and was pleasantly surprised at the amount I received. I started using it 3 nights ago and I can't believe what I am seeing in the mirror. I am 31 years old I am constantly asked how I keep my skin so young looking. This produce leaves my face looking (and feeling) really nice... even if I am only going to bed!!! When I wake up, I love to look in the mirror now. My face seems to glow and my pores seem to have shrunk overnight. LOVE IT!!! Very nice coverage and glides on like velvet. Doesn't feel like it suffocates your pores at all, which is incredible for a powder (even if it is meant for nighttime use). I've been using it for just a few days so far, so it will be interesting to see how my skin progresses with longer use. So far, so good! The color is great, it's translucent and diffuses light well. What's awesome is that it's more than half the price of that other brand AND more than three times the amount! i love the nocturne. i see subtle changes in my skin. it is very healing for blemishes. i have noticed a great improvement around my lips, they have a tendency to get red and irritated when i use certain products and the nocturne has made them much better. i wash and moisturize as normal, let my products sink in and dry, then apply a thin layer of nocturne with a brush. i find it goes on better with a brush than with the sponge. thanx for a great product at a reasonable price!
