This is the most divinely soft, silky smooth kabuki brush ever. We're not kidding.
Softer than even the softest traditional hair kabuki, the famous "delectable", "luscious" or "cat" kabuki, this synthetic fiber taklon kabuki brush is the creme de la creme.
100% cruelty-free, virtually shed-free and also entirely free of the odors that all natural hair brushes produce when they are washed.
If you want a soft as satin brush and have issues with any of the above, then this brush is the brush for you!
Indulge yourself in this beauty of a brush!
Dimensions of the brush: 2.75" tall x 1.125" wide
Brush head is 1.5" long

Comments:Sorry to say I'm not as happy with this as I'd like to be. I'm glad it's taklon because I prefer not to use brushes made from animal hair. However, I feel it "grabs" too much make-up, and then it's harder to apply it lightly and evenly. And my mineral make up doesn't last as long as it used to since I've been using this brush. I've been using mineral foundation and kabuki brushes for years, and for me, this is not as satisfactory as others. I wish there was a softer synthetic kabuki -- maybe I can't have it both ways, but I can wish. |

Comments:I've been wearing MMU for a while now, and this brush is by far the best brush I've used to apply it! Firstly, it picks up everything in the lid perfectly, and even if I shake it, the minerals hold. It's extremely soft, deposits the minerals evenly, and is non-irritating to my skin (which is fantastic). I love putting my foundation on simply because I get to use my new toy. Great brush for a great price. You will be very content when you receive it :) |

Comments:This is the second one I have had (the dog ate the first!). I have used several Kabuki brushes and when I tried this one, I was hooked. Feels like silk on the skin and doesn't shed like many of the brushes do. Absolutely the best, you will not be disappointed with this one. |

Comments:For some reason, it won't let me review the glissade stuff, so I did it here. I HOPE that's okay. D:Okay, so, even though I'm a guy, I wear makeup. Why, because I think it makesme look better. End of story. Don't care otherwise abut what other people think. That said, I have bad skin. I never really used foundation before, but I'm tired of the fact that it gets puffy and red (and I have typical teenage problems with acne), and the one time I tried before (also with mineral makeup), it was cartoony and pale, and irritated my skin a TON. Luckily for the former, it was for halloween, and I wanted to look pale. However, this stuff is great. Seriously. It matches so well you can't tell I'm wearing it, and I've asked a few people. That's a definite plus for me, because I don't want it terribly obvious I'm wearing the stuff. Second, it didn't irritate my skin at all, which made me really happy, AND it evened out my skintone. My only qualm is that I'm concerned it's a shade too light (well, the 4N anyway; the other shades I ordered were too light), but I'm fairly sure that's my paranoia. I'll definitely be ordering a full size soon. Oh, and thanks for the other samples, though I doubt I'm going to use them. xD I may give them to my sister. I must say I AM somewhat tempted, and not in the least because emilie autumn uses the rocks stuff, I believe, ut I'm going to avoid it. I did like the little thank you note. That was sweet, and made me feel more like I was ordering from a smaller company and less from a big money sucking conglomorate that thinks ofme as a small number in their giant list of numbers. That was pleasant. All in all, I'm pleased. ^_^ And as for the brush, it's really quite nice and soft, and I don't regret spending the money to buy it. |

Comments:I purchased this when it was on sale, because I only had one kabuki, and needed another just in case.It is very soft, I love how the hairs are cruelty free...my only thing is I wish it was a little more dense, only because I am used to a really dense kabuki at the moment...but this is no problem, it still gets 5 stars from me. Very nice quality. |

Comments:I just got this brush to apply mineral foundation with and since the moment it arrived I have not used anything else! Big size so I can cover my whole face in record time, extremely soft so it doesn't get scratchy like some natural brushes can after a while, and it does not shed! It's pure luxury and the only brush I'll ever use again to apply foundation! |

Comments:My face has become very sensitive to natural hair and buffing with the natural hair became unbearable. Since I swtiched to this brush my little pimples have disappeared and it feels like natural hair brushes use to feel. I also liked that after more than a week of use and a wash, no hairs have come out! I feel like a fool spending so much on my mac kabuki when I could get 2 for this price! |

Comments:I did my homework on this one, and purchased it based on the reviews of both the material used and the particular brush itself. I have spent much more on all natural sable, squirrel, and Italian badger hair kabukis in the past. This brush is much, much softer than all of them. It is full, dense, soft & perfect- not the least bit scratchy- I can even get right up around my eyes at allergy season with it and it feels great. Makeup application was FLAWLESS. This brush had NO shedding like almost all of the others did, and the price for such a great brush was unbeatable. Sometimes man makes improvments on "all natural" and this is one of those times. I highly recommend this brush! |

Comments:I had a kabuki brush so I put off buying this one...big mistake. This is the softest brush I have ever felt. My makeup (glissade) goes on great and my skin is not irritated by the brush. In fact, I tend to keep running it along my face even after the makeup is off the brush just because I'm amazed at how soft it it!Even if you have a kabuki, chances are it is not as soft as this one. Comments:This is the softest brush I have ever felt. Not a bit of roughness to it. You can't go wrong with this one. All this bragging by other companies that their natural bristle brushes are so soft is a joke. I have rosacea and they scratch my face so much. I am hoping that this brush will help me to actually be able to wear mineral makeup since the other brand I tried makes my face itch. I am beginning to suspect the brushes and not the makeup. Since I ordered samples of AR time will tell. |

Don\'t know if I got a lemon or not, but since I purchased it in November of \'07, I contacted Aromaleigh about a return and I am not able to return it. (edited for accuracy of complaint)** Note from Aromaleigh- we regret that we are unable to offer a return on a brush after it has been used for 7+ months. If a brush is immediately defective and shedding in clumps, this is reason to contact us right away about the Silky taklon kabuki. |

Comments:The Silky Smooth Taklon Kabuki Brush is sooo velvety soft, it holds the mineral powder very well and you can get great coverage, effortlessly. I love the fact that it is cruelty free. It doesn't get stiff or change texture after washing, and it doesn't shed fibers all over the place either. Short stubby handle makes it easy to travel with, if there were a longer handled brush I would get one of those, too. |

Comments:I have rosacea, and finding a brush that doesn't hurt my face has been difficult. I've been using what I thought were acceptable natural hair brushes for about a year, when I decided to give the Taklon kabuki a try. It's like rubbing a mink or chinchilla on my face (without the clawing & biting and such!). The coverage is wonderful, as the brush seems to hold a lot more product without dusting it all over my bathroom. The only downside I found is that the brush took a LONG time to dry when I washed it because the fibers are so dense. The answer? BUY TWO!!!! |

Comments:I never thought a synthetic brush could be softer than a natural hair brush, but this kabuki has proved me wrong! This is definitely the softest brush I've ever tried, even after many washings, it is still super-soft and makes my other kabukis (that I previously thought were soft) seem scratchy in comparison! This brush also gives my mineral makeup a much smoother, more even finish than my natural hair kabuki -- it takes me less time to apply my makeup and my makeup looks better than before! Overall, an excellent brush -- everyone should have two! (So you have a backup while you wash and dry the first one!) |

Comments:I initially got this brush becaise I wanted to switch over to synthetic. It was only after using it that I realized that the goat hair kabuki from a certain big brand that shall remain nameless must have been irritating my skin as much as their bismuth oxychloride-ridden foundation. Aromaleigh voile with that kabuki had been an awesome improvement, but Aromaleigh plus this silky smooth wonder...well, it's beyond beyond. Everyone should have this brush in their arsenal. Between it and the taklon concealer dealie, I am totally set for a flawless face. |

Comments:Ditto! This brush is so soft, it's like buttah! I like the way the short, wide handle fits in the hand. The brush head seems to be the perfect size and shape: big enough for full face coverage, but shaped for a certain amount of precision. Also, the bristles are short and dense enough for "buffing" the powder in and around. |

I had previously been using a much "fluffier" brush, so the density of this brush was a surprise to me. After using this brush for a week or two, I have thrown away the other. Comments:This is hands-down the most amazing foundation kabuki brush I have ever used - and I've used plenty! It's beyond soft - in my opinion, it simply cannot irritate even the most sensitive skin. But the most amazing aspect of this brush for me is that I USE SO MUCH LESS FOUNDATION while getting the same amount of coverage that I did from using my old brush and much more foundation. The brush will actually soon pay for itself in all of the foundation that I save. While I did purchase this brush at a great sale price, I would be just as thrilled with it had I paid full price for it. So, in sumation, there's zero irritation and it pays for itself in the long run because you use so much less foundation - that's a lot for a kabuki brush to deliver, but deliver it does!!! I'm stamping this one a "must-have". |

Comments:After hearing all the raves for this brush, and since my original Delectable kabuki is now five years old (and still going strong, I might add!!) I decided to spring for a Silky Smooth Taklon kabuki for both myself and my daughter. I could not be MORE PLEASED!!This is a slightly smaller brush head than my other 'buki brushes - so it fits the curves and contours of my face perfectly. The fibers are incredible smooth and soft and pick up the loose minerals so beautifully, with very little fly away. And the coverage it gives is full AND sheer at the same time, if that makes any sense at all. All my little imperfections were covered in a single silky swipe, and my skin just looked smooth and healthy with a bit of glow, not overly powdered or cakey, which can sometimes happen if I'm in a hurry and using too much foundation powder. My daughter uses her kabukis slightly damp to achieve full coverage with her Voile without looking cakey, and I KNOW she will love this brush, too - I haven't sent it to her yet, but will tomorrow. All in all, if you are looking for your first kabuki, I'd recommend the Silky Smooth Taklon. If you want a smaller brush head, the Silky Smooth Taklon is the way to go. If you are a sensitive gal, get this brush. And if you want to use less product, this is the brush for you! Basically, I think if you have a face, you need this brush!! :) |

Comments:Believe the hype! I was skeptical because what others consider soft, I usually think it's not soft enough. I'm very picky like that. But this IS very soft & incredibly velvety. I've had 2 kabuki brushes from BE and both of them are a bit scratchy and gives me too much coverage, but not this. It gives a nice sheer coverage with just a bit of powder, but definitely buildable too if you desire more coverage. This is now my new favorite brush! |

Comments:Ok, for anyone thinking about getting this brush, this one is a total no-brainer, stop now and just add it to your cart. It is a wonderful brush. It does not have even the slightest hint of pricklyness. To use it is like giving yourself a face massage while applying your makeup. The brush holds the foundation well and you have a lot less powder flying around when you use it and and it places your foundation on your face beautifully. You can't go wrong with this one. |

Comments:This is the softest brush I have ever used. It applies my Glissade perfectly and just feels so good that I have actually been reapplying my make-up in the evening (as opposed to just doing touch-ups) just so I can feel the smoothness and because the result is so fantastic. |

Comments:I love this brush. It's wonderfully soft and very dense. I have found that I get better coverage with less powder when using this, and I have experienced absolutely no shedding. A great value for the money. |

Comments:If this thing is really "fake", OMG, then somebody has taken synthetic to the higest level.. It's really soft and has excellent pickup on the powder. Way better than the Urban Decay one I got at Sephora. |

Comments:What a treat! This is not 'just another brush' to add to your collection. It is the softest brush I have ever used for mineral foundation; so good to my dry and aging skin. I had used it for 2 weeks when I decided to wash and put away my expensive Mac Kabuki. I have lots of AL brushes, (II have lots of brushes period!) and this is a superior product.Everyone needs this SSTK for mineral foundation application. |
