Nuance: A warmish neutral, buff and wearable. Words that come to mind? Soft brown rose copper brandy rosewood cognac. Midtone. (warm/neutral) If you liked the color "Brandy" in our previous lipstick line, you'll like this shade! | ![]() |
Gossamer: A subtly shimmering warm caramel shade with pinkish copper tones. Perfect for that "J Lo" Glow. (warm/neutral). If you liked the color "Sheen" in our previous lipstick line, you'll like this shade, although it is not as shimmery. |

Coquette: A warm/neutral fawn buff peach with mauve/beige undertones... in other words- it's really wearable- not orange! Comments:As others have said, perfect is absolutely lovely. Color but subtly so. I'm fair with pink undertones (and a redhead!) and it gives me the great wash of pink that's not overbearing (plenty of other lipsticks for that sort of thing...) and easy to apply. Awesome!! Thanks! |

Comments:I've "rave reviewed" these before, but since I just recently replaced four of my favorite colors w/new tubes as the shelf life of some natural products like these is not as long as other chemical ladden presevative-filled and really yucky tasting/feeling lipstick brands - I wanted to review them again to encourage anyone that may be new to this line to PLEASE TRY THEM - they are amazing.Ok, true enough, the colors are all great and very wearable, the price is unbelievable, the slimline tube is the best for a controlled application, but that's not why I'm taking the time to type out yet another rave review about them - it's the FORMULA that's most amazing. The afterwards conditioning that my lips receive from wearing them is like no other lip product that I currently use. I would dearly love to see some really dark and vampy shades added to this line though. Thanks for all the great AL products, Miss K! |

Comments:I picked up Sweet when it came out and I really love it for when I want a nude pink lip. It's the perfect nude pink color for me. It's moisturizing and feels good on my lips. I feel very polished when I'm wearing this lip color. I think it's great for subtle looks or paired with a smoky eye. |

Comments:Now that summer is here I am on my second tube of Gossamer. It is truly the perfect summer color. It is sheer and lets your natural lip come through a little if you apply it lightly enough. It has the perfect amount of shimmer and the caramel shade is neutral and wearable. Low maintenance yet gorgeous, Gossamer is the perfect warm lip for summer that says "effortlessly and naturally beautiful". I also have to add that I receive many compliments on the alluring scent and taste of these lippies, and of course its wonderful to have soft, conditioned lips. Combine all these plusses with the handy portable packaging, and you can't go wrong with these lipsticks. |

Comments:Perfect is perfect! I'd been waiting to order this color, but received it as a free sample! I loved the color Lush, and was disappointed to see it discontinued. Perfect is a bit warmer toned than Lush imo (no purple tones), so I'd call it a neutral (as pinks go). With that said, my coloring is neutral leaning warm, so this color works even better. If I decide I want it cooler, I'll just add a layer of Blankgeneration on top. |

Comments:i got this sample free with my order.i don't exactly fancy how it looks on the screen or in the baggie, but i decided to try it anyway (cuz in the forums there was someone who wore it and it looked like a totally different colour, a very nice coral pink!) and true enough, it turned out a totally different colour once worn! in the baggie it looks a little brown to me, and a little dull. but once i wore it, it turned into this really pretty shade of pink and now i think i like it more than rosebud! and it looks very natural too! my original lip colour is something like rosebud except less pink and warmer, so i didn't expect tender to turn out pink on my lips. it was a nice surprise! im glad i got a sample of it, i wouldn't have known! |

Comments:I don't like my lips to look too made up, and these lipsticks are perfect for that. I own Nuance and Crush and they look wonderful with my pale skin and red hair. They're easy to apply. The smell is a bit strange, but I got use to it after a few applications. |

I love light nudey lips and this is a nice light nudey pink shade. I am pretty fair skinned and I love that this doesn't make me look washed out either. Also the smell is out of this world. I love anything that smells like coccoa or chocolate rather mmm :)Aromaleigh please please make more NUDE LIPSTICK SHADES!!!! |

Comments:I originally bought the sample pack and it worked so well at smoothing and healing my winter ravaged lips that I bought my five favorite colors karma, gossamer, sassy, crush and fling. Comments:These are my favorite lipsticks ever! The colors aren't gaudy at all. I bought tender, darling, and gala. They are very moisturizing like lipbalm and provide a nice amount of color that isn't overdone at all. They are soft anc creamy and not hard and waxy like other products. The colors are all my lips but better with a different shade to the better. I highly recommend these! |

It's the perfect red for me.Fling tho, I was expecting a purple colour. But, when I put it on my lips it's more of a brownish colour. Disappointing, but it still looks nice on me. |

Comments:I bought Nuance and Darling looking for a perfect "my lips but better" shade. Nuance was exactly that shade for my ultra-pale olive skin. It doesn't add any unnatural color to my lips, but gives me a tiny bit of warmth and definition. Looks perfect even when I'm not wearing makeup. Darling was a miss, with me. In the tube and on my hand it looked very sheer and pink, but on my lips it had a mauve/dull waxy look that wasn't attractive.Vivid is...wow! BRIGHT. I was looking for a true red and that's what I found. To compare, the color is ALMOST identical to Bare Escentual's lippie "Red Delicious" but it's translucent instead of opaque, so it goes on like a gloss or stain. It's a tiny bit brighter and less brown than that lipstick. Basically this is a fun, popping shade but because of the translucence you couldn't use it when a red lipstick was wanted; it's a red gloss, instead. That makes it a bit less useful than I hoped, as with a red-red I'm usually looking for an opaque lipstick. The formulation of this product is nice, very soft, but not moisturizing enough to use alone on my lips. Also it has no SPF value, so I layer it with a sunblocking lip balm. |

Comments:I love the texture of this formula, very creamy with that wonderful smell we have grown to love from Aromaleigh. I ordered "Crush" and it is a nice neutral tone for my red hair, fair complexion and I think it would work with most any coloring. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I don't care for the small tube. Makes it look like chapstick, kind of cheap. Wish it were bigger but I do love it so I would buy again. |

Comments:I got this in Perfect. It's a very nice purplish color (with a slight hint of pink). It's an extremely pretty color. What really surprised me is how smooth it goes on without any residual waxy feel. It is quite moisturizing, too. I highly recommend this product and shade. |

Comments:I have these in Rosebud and Sweet and I love them! The texture is smooth, creamy and ever-so-slightly slick. They feel wonderful even on my chronically dry lips and the colors are very, very flattering.Rosebud is very close to the natural color of my lips, only slightly less pink/rosy. It's the perfect go-to neutral for me. It goes with everything. Sweet is a peachy pink on me. It's younger looking than Rosebud and a little more fun, but still very much a neutral for me. It just gives my lips a little bit of color. I was worried from some other reviews that it would be too peachy/coral (I'm neutral-cool, but wearing orange/peach almost never seems to work on me), but it's lovely. Not a pink pink, but not too peachy/coral, either. |

Comments:My body has become hypersensitive to harsh chemicals and I subsequently gave up on lipsticks five years ago, because they were either beautiful but sensitizing or hypoallergenic yet came in ugly colors. Aromaleigh's "Color Infusion Botanical Lipsticks" formula and Kristen's supernatural sensibility to color has returned the pleasure of wearing lipsticks back to my life.I first got a sample of Vivid with my first order. I tried it on a whim and was immediately hooked. I've never seem so versatile and so perfect a color, and it's a straight, daring red no less. I didn't put on much of it, even blotted out a lot with tissues, yet the color lasted forever and there's nary a hint of trouble with allergy. I ended up buying a sample of every shade in this formula and got very impressed -- several shades are exactly the colors I'd been looking for forever but could never find. I tried M.A.C. and Make Up For Ever and all those brands, and the best I could find were always a little bit "not there yet." Kristen's innate sense of color is simply incredible; she makes shades that are bold yet not vulgar, dramatic yet elegant, extraordinary but also well balanced. They make an occasion out of everyday life but don't make you look like you're trying too hard. Matter-of-factly beautiful. |

Comments:About a month ago, I placed an order for eye shadow, and received this botanical lipstick in karma as a sample. I don't wear pink on my lips, ever, and rarely wear lipstick to begin with...but had to have this color. Comments:This is a nice red, and I like that it's a lip balm that actually has COLOR to it! Every other "red" lip balm I've ever used has not actually added any color to my lips. This lip balm not only has a nice texture to it, but it is very pigmented. I have a matte red lipstick, but when my lips are a bit chapped, it's just not an option. Vivid is a great everyday red, that also helps with chapped lips. Can't say enough good things about these lip balms, I definitely want more colors! |

Comments:I have these in a lot of colors now. They are my Holy Grail Lippie! I just want more colors to choose from. The ones I have are moist, shiny but not too shiny and wear really well. The scent is heavenly too. If a I had any complaint aside from wanting more colors, it would be that some of the colors intensify on me after a short while. I do have this issue with several brands of lippies though, so it's probably just my weird chemistry. |

Comments:I received Vivid as a sample with my last order, and now I'm back to purchase the full size!I was a bit intimidated by the brightness of the sample in the baggie, but I have recently been on the lookout for a wearable, sexy, bombshell-ish red lipstick that I can pull off. I patted this on and was actually rather surprised! It really is a lush, soft formula that didn't feather or look caked-on. I slicked a lipgloss on top and looked like I was going to hit the red carpet! Fantastic. I have a lighter but warm shade of skin, green eyes and auburn hair, and this color looked just right. <3! |

Comments:I have two of these - Nuance and Crush. They are both extemely wearable, and have good staying power for an all natural product. They are not mostly gloss and a little color, but go on smoothly and true to what's in the tube. The descriptions of the colors are very accurate; also these lipsticks aren't drying at all. As a matter of fact, I had very dry lips from trying another brand, and the Color Infusion lipstick was very soothing to them. It's all I want to wear now! |

The texture is REALLY nice, not sticky at all. Comments:I'm pretty picky about lipstick, so I only ordered one of these to start. Well, they've gone straight to the top of my wish list, because I really love my "Darling" new lipstick! This formula is the perfect blend of color and creaminess, without being too heavy. I also liked the way it wore off -- it left a bit of a stain of color, but looked natural and not like I had lip liner on without lipstick. GREAT! And best of all, it didn't feather across my lip line, as others do now that I'm of "a certain age." Excellent product, Kristen, don't change a thing! |

Comments:If these were available in more colors I'd give 5 stars! Fresh wearable color, totally natural looking, very moisturizing. Cross between a balm and lipstick. Lipstick can be aging and make your lips look "pursed". these make my lips look lush and great. Love them and smell great. |

Comments:I love the fragrance of this product, and it goes on smoothly and feels great. But it doesn't seem like typical lipstick...the coverage is more sheer, but I prefer a natural look, so this is great. (Of course I don't know how the darker colors would look, since I ordered light shades.) |

Comments:Love the slimline tubes, love the formula, love the colors! And the price makes all of that a real steal.Karma is a gorgeous sweet n' sexy mauve berry. Sassy is the perfect uber-wearable, hot summer red - it's wonderful w/a tan. |

Comments:I do like the new Color Infusion lipstick, however it\'s more like a tinted balm and has to be reapplied more often. The colors are great, I just wish it stayed on longer. |

Comments:The color infusion lip gloss felt just lovely and smooth. Only one star off because the shade was a bit brighter than I'd hoped (the edges of the color sample pictured are more representative). Thanks, too, for the wallflower sample - it is SO pretty on the lips. :-) |

Comments:I wear Nuance and Sweet, and I Love how this lipstick feels, which is very moisturizing; yet the color is long wearing. For lack of a better word these colors are vibrant, not lacking in pigment; yet not overpowering. I am a medium skinned gal and yet love Sweet, it or Nuance is what I wear everyday. If you love a natural healthy looking lip, these are all you need for that special touch of color that will be Your lips but better! |

Comments:I love this lipstick. The size is just right, it has a nice, very subtle scent (slightly coco-orange, not perfume-y at all), and the color is a great neutral, go with everything color. I will order more! |

Comments:I bought the color Perfect, and it is. It is a lovely shade of pink, and looks very natural. The lipstick does feel like it's drying out my lips after awhile. I have dry skin issues, so this may just be a problem for me. |

Comments:Please meet my new 3 favorite summer lippies -"Gossamer" is a shimmery shell beige - wondeful for a lightweight tint of nude summer color; and YEAH! it's not too frosty for an old gal like me (47yo). "Nuance" is truly my holy grail rosewood shade -it's not too brown and it's not too rosey - a "classic beauty color" that goes w/everything. "Perfect" really is the PERFECT shade of pink! 'Nuff said there..... The new formula is very good and the slimline tubes are ingenious (why didn't we think of this sooner?) For reference, I currently wear Voile foundation in level 2-3 warm. Thanks so much for making these great lippies, K! :) |

Comments:I am so happy that I picked up this Über moisturizing new lippie formulation from Aromaleigh. I ordered the "PERFECT" color for spring/summer since I have been searchng for a cool-toned pink that's not too light not too bold for spring and summer '08. This Aromaleigh product delivers great hydatration in an easy-to-apply format. It's not quite as bold as a traditional lipstick but it's more color than the Aromaleigh Color Wash lippies. I highly recommend PERFECT as the "perfect" cool-toned spring/summer lippie. P.S. Top this off with a mid-toned pink lip gloss for the PERFECT (pun intended) spring/summer pink lip! I also recommend using a pink-toned lip liner for increased staying power. |

Comments:I'm embarrassed to say I have 9 or 10 of these. I love them to excess, you could say. Love the colors, love the feel. They aren't exactly a true lipstick, but they aren't a lip balm or a lip gloss either. Truly unique, great colors, staying power, look great. I'm happy!!! |

Comments:Admittedly I'm not usually a big lipstick person. I put it on in the morning when I put my makeup on, and then I usually stick to gloss or balm the rest of the day because it's easier to apply on the go. But these lipsticks are fabulous. The packaging makes it super easy to apply, even when I don't have a mirror handy, it feels great on, and the color lasts for a long time. Great product. And the colors are incredible. I don't think I've ever owned so many lip colors at once. |

Comments:Hands down the best stuff I ever put on my lips! Love the texture, the slimline tube, the finish and the staying power. I have Perfect - a great summery, feminine pink, Nuance - MLBB, Crush - something about Crush really makes my teeth look bright white!, Vivid - very wearable, user friendly red, and Fling - makes me look like I've been kissing raspberries! I can't pick a favorite - this whole range of colors works on me! I didn't think it was possible to top your previous lippies, Kristen, but you did it! |

Comments:These are by far the best lipsticks I've ever tried! I normally don't like lipsticks since they dry out my lips, and many of the drugstore brand "moisturizing" lipsticks don't last long at all. But these Botanical lipsticks are amazing! They are very moisturizing and are as comfortable to wear as a lip balm; yet last just as long as the drying "long lasting" lipsticks from other brands! The best of both worlds!I also love the new slimline packaging. It is MUCH easier to get a perfect application with these slimline tubes than with the traditional lipstick "bullet" shape, which I find too large, too rounded, and just plain awkward until I've worn it down to a good shape. These lipsticks are super-easy to apply from day one! My favorite color by far is Rosebud -- I never thought I'd love a pink lipstick so much, since normally pinks look horrible on my warm skintone! But this is the perfect MLBB (My Lips But Better) pink, and is very neutral and would work great on both warm and cool skintones! Rosebud, along with the Color Cremes Wallflower and Melancholia, are my three regular everday lip colors that I now rotate between! Coquette is also lovely on my skintone, though a bit darker and bolder than what I would consider an everyday color and is probably best for weekends. But I have very pale skin, so this color would probably look more natural on someone with a more medium skintone. Gossamer is good for the "nude" look -- it is a bit lighter and more beige / skintone-colored than my natural lip color. I normally don't like shimmery lip products, but the shimmer in Gossamer is very subtle and wearable! I don't like nude lips on myself so I only ordered a sample, but anyone who likes nude lips should definitely try this! Crush is also a lovely red for my skintone -- not too dark, not too orange, not too brown, not too pink! Just right for a date night look! |

Comments:I love the color of this lipstick. The only complaint I have is the smoothness of the lipstick. It goes on great as long as your lips are exfoliated beforehand. The color is quite amazing and very flattering. |

Comments:Very smooth, creamy and moisturizing formula, with pretty and long lasting colors. I also like the small tube, it is perfect for tucking into my pocket at work (I'm a nurse, so I don't have time to really freshen up, I just apply after I wash my hands and GO!).It feels good like lip balm, but performs like lipstick; the best of both worlds. I like it better than my Chanel lipsticks. |

Comments:Kristen, "you done good", reeeeally good on these lipsticks!! :):):):):)I wore my Crush sample yesterday w/a pale pink sundress and the combo was very fab! And the formula is fantastic!!! K, we "need" this formula offered in a colorless option for no makeup days and for a nightime treatment - yes, I can actually make a case for owning both the balms AND a colorless botanical lipstick treatment too. Now I'm looking forward to trying out the other 14 colors as well..... |

Comments:I was surprised at how tiny they were. Not such a good price for little product. But the product itself was very good.** Note from Aromaleigh: The pricing of these is entirely in line with the same size product being offered from other companies- only ours has much better ingredients (many are organic!) Hence, our pricing is very reasonable, if not just plain affordable and if you get these on weekly sale at 25% OFF? You've got yourself a steal. Disappointed? And a 2 Star review? Shame. Surf around and compare value and ingredients. |

Comments:Wow. How did you ladies make a lip product that feels more comfortable than balm, but has the staying power of a traditional long-wear lipstick, minus any dryness?? First day I wore my sample of Crush, the application lasted 4 hours. Yes, I ate and drank water too. Kristen, this product is the best! My 3 year old voted for Crush as his fave too! |

Comments:Oh my love, ok, let me start off by saying that I LOVE THE COLOUR KARMA! Karma has never looked so good until it was on my lips! Hahaha, I got this in a free sample packet with my order and omg, I was just like wow. Free FAST shipping on my samples, very generous amount, with the eyeshadows, I mean I barely have to use a lot to get an incredible colour payoff WITHOUT a base. I mean wow. Ok but back to the lipstick--just plain wonderful! My only complain was that the lipstick was on the greasy side, BUT! I will not hold this against Aromaleigh because I'm sure just through packaging and being shipped it changed the texture of it and such. If your looking for a very cute colour lipstick, I suggest you buy from Aromaleigh, it is very moisturizing, and one thing I noticed, NO TRANSFERING! It's insane, I ate drank, rolled around in my sleep, and after 8 hours of wear, IT WAS STILL THERE! Just brilliant, same with the eyeshadows, amazing wear, looked just the same as if I had just put them on after all that sleeping action haha. I LOVE YOU AROMALIEGH! I will be buying again, no doubt! To the one that was disappointed with the size of the product due to the price, seriously. If you can pay $14.00 for a MAC lipstick you can pay $7.75 for a lipstick that is GOOD for your lips! With all that said, Aromaliegh, keep doing what you do cos we love you! |

Comments:I am a die hard gloss girl, but had to try some of these lip colors. I enjoyed sample colors of glossamer, tender, and nuance. But the samples didn't go on as smoothly as I'd like. Still determined to love these lippies, I ordered a full size in my favorite color--Tender. Wow, the full size is great, goes on smooth, wonderful texture, easy to layer the amount, perfect size to apply without mirror. I'll be getting gossamer next in full size. |

Comments:I’m very impressed with the new lipstick formulation – and the new fabulous name! The skinny tube is super-portable and no-nonsense – if you’ve ever had a lipstick break (either the tube or the lipstick bullet itself), you’ll appreciate the new packaging. The formula smells gorgeous (like a superb blend of coca butter and florals), glides on smooth as silk, and has moderate-to-low shine. I just bought Gossamer, and it’s great - an ultra-neutral, wear-with-everything, instant staple in my nude lippie collection. I tend to prefer shimmery-frosty type lipsticks, and although this range doesn’t have much of that to offer, there are some great shades. I really like the new color Sweet – very aptly named – a sweet, wearable shade – perfect with smoky eyes. In summary, I love the new formula, so if any new colors are released, I’ll be all over them! |

Comments:These are the best lippies ever. They feel so amazing on. Their not heavy or drying, like most lipsticks. And they smell amazing. Karma is my favorite, but all of the colors are amazing. Sweet is the perfect pink. The packaging is amazing as well, it's so easy to apply and it makes it easy to apply as little or as much lipsticks as you want. |

Comments:I had the privilege of getting one of these new lipsticks with my last order. So rich and creamy. Great color payoff! And I love that fact that these are vegan and organic. I've tried other 'natural' lipstick like products out there in the beauty market and mineral makeup market, and these are by far the absolutely BEST! |
