This handy little brush is also known as a “push brush” or a "flat liner" brush, and it is used the push or "pat" the eyeliner gently and as closely as possible into the space near your eyelashes creating a very natural look.
Add a small amount of product to the end of the bristles, and pat the color against your lashline. Don't pull the brush, as you would a traditional eyeliner brush- this will make application more difficult. Start with a small amount of product and add more if you desire a more dramatic look.
