Rare and precious fragrance materials are the focus of our line of natural eau de toilettes. All essential oils are blended in a base of all-natural grain alcohol or natural pressed base oils. The majority of commercially available fragrances are blended in synthetic petrochemical alcohols with toxic denaturants. The potential hazard of these synthetic fragrance materials is under so much scrutiny that some Canadian provinces have recently passed laws banning the wearing of perfume and cologne in public places, in order to comfort asthma and allergy sufferers.

Natural fragrances are very different than their synthetic counterparts. They are more subtle, more complex, more therapeutic and have less staying power. This is due to the volatile nature of essential oils and plant extracts. They evaporate faster than synthetics. While this is a frequent complaint of many natural perfume wearers, it is intrinsic to wearing and enjoying a natural perfume. You simply get more chances to enjoy it because you need to apply more often!
