A family of muted, heathered shades and a variety of taupes (greyed and browned shades) that create a natural and extremely wearable palette of shadows in the spirit of the southern summer, or all year 'round.
We highly recommend high quality makeup brushes or sponge applicators for ease of application. Can be applied wet or dry for varying effects.
This selection of low-key, soft contrast shades are completely matte. Layer them, or apply with a wet brush to create a more pronounced, watercolor-like effect.
NOTE: While we have made all attempts for photographs to accurately depict colors, photography unfortunately does not accurately reveal the depth and interplay of color and effect of these shadows. Also, please note that variations do exist between different computer monitors.
Size: Approx. 1.2 grams net weight (weight varies slightly from color to color), Sample baggie= 1/16 teaspoon (enough for several applications). These are packaged in what is commonly known amongst mineral makeup fans as a "5 gram jar". They contain a sifter with seal.
Ingredients: Serecite mica powder (CI 77019), titanium dioxide (CI 77891) and purified cosmetic grade pigments such as iron oxides (CI 77499, CI 77491, CI 77492), ultramarine blue, ultramarine violet, ultramarine pink (CI 77007), chromium oxide green (CI 77288), hydrated chromium oxide (CI 77289) and manganese violet (CI 77742)

Comments:I have number of these shadows but never tried willow until I got a sample. A perfect medium matte taupe. Not too pink, orange, or blue. You get a true grey/ brown. A great color for the crease. |

Comments:I have sampled the frosty and the matte shades. Normally, I don't wear shadow just because it seems to irritate or fall onto my face during the day. I received samples of a crazy looking dark super frost shadow and tried it just for something to do. I love it. After wearing 2 different formulas all day without any touching up- they both lasted all day-and I have oily skin- even on my eyelids! Also, they didn't do any of the awful things that other shadows do to over 40 skin. They stayed on and did not irritate or flake off. I will repurchase. |

Comments:I recently branched out and decided to try mattes, and picked up seaglass, dune, sand, shell, and oyster. I love how these colors compliment each other. Shell makes a great lid color while oyster looks lovely on the browbone. The colors blend easily. |

Comments:I was so excited to try the mattes, but they aren't quite what I expected. They are still beautiful colors, but tend to look 'flat' on me. I think that I am just a girl that needs more sparkle! I do like my Oyster for the brow bone, and tend to mix the mattes with my more shimmery shades- to create colors of my own! Do order samples to see if these are for you! |

Comments:This whole collection is truly lovely. This size jar will last a very, very long time as well. The color does crease after several hours though, but it only takes a quick swipe of your finger to smooth it back out. |

Comments:I have a lot of the mattes and they really brighten my tired looking eyes. aromaleigh is the best mineral make-up I've tried and I've tried a buch of 'em: bare escentuals, sheer cover, raesin images, neutrogena minerals, lloreal minerals, almay minerals and a few others as well - none compare!!! |

Comments:I ordered this product in oyster and it looked quite yellow but goes on great for a eye lid and brow bone highlighter. I hope to order another color for shading my crease area. |

Comments:These matte colors are all perfect for my "mature" eyes. They nicely highlight and contour with out being too sparkly or shimmery. Great colors and great prices! |

Comments:I originally ordered Heron, but received Starfish as a free sample. Heron is a light bluish gray, which makes my dark blue eyes look darker, but a little more green. It is subdued enough that I can wear it with a thin line of black eyeliner & red lipstick. Starfish was a find for me though - I don't generally like orange, but this color is beautiful and very flattering for blue eyes. I never would have tried it had it not been for the samples. I will never buy eyeshadow anywhere else again - not even from MAC. Kristen, can you give me a recommendation for an eyeshadow close to your discontinued lolita? |

Comments:Dune is a perfect neutral base shadow for me. I blend it with elfin (midsummer night) to create my favorite every day look, and it can change from day to night depending on how much of each I use... lighter on the elfin for day, more for at night. I also helps tone down shine on other shimmery shadows when used as a base or a blender. Love it! |

Comments:I like this color for a highlight under the brow. Normally I like to use a shimmery/sparkly brow highlight, but when I want a matte look, this is the shadow to use. As with all Aromaleigh shadows, I think the value is wonderful (and on sale even better!). I would recommend these to anyone who wants great performance! |

Comments:I love this color for a crease/contour color with my hazel eyes. I had the pleasure of putting it on a friend with similar eye color for her mother-of-the-bride look. She loved it as well.It is a rich color without being overbearing for an everyday look or applied a bit heavier for evening. |

Comments:This is the PERFECT shade of taupe if you're a redhead. I am a redhead with very pale skin, lots of pink, and warm undertones in my skin. This color is absolutely the best color I have ever found for my eyes. I use it both as an eyeshadow, and as a liner. Just the teeniest bit around the eyes makes them smokey and pop. Thank you Aromaleigh! |

Comments:Heron is just a beautiful eye shadow that really comes alive when applied! It's sort of a mix of blue, gray, and mauve - subtle and sophisticated. It really shows of my green eyes and is one of my favorites. |

Comments:I thought this color was not anything I could wear when I saw the sample placed with one of my previous orders. But it really is a pretty color for me...I am Mexican-American, have medium-dark skin, and tan easily. I love this color with Chloe. |

Comments:This matte collection is outstanding. The colors are all very soft, pretty and blendable. Try one of the darker shades above the crease and wetlined over a complimentary pale frost, or use a light shade as an all over the eye wash. All the colors work with each other - a very pretty, can't miss, works for everybody collection. |

Comments:I use the Sand color as my concealer makeup. It has a nice yellow color that blocks the purple under eye circles as well as redness from those darn pimples that pop up every once in a while. I tried the cover ups Aromaleigh offered but they were never quite right in shade for good concealment with my skin. Even with a 3WL foundation I can use the sand as a concealer with some Illuminator on top and I get that great highlight under my eyes instead of scary half-dead under-eye circles. Thanks aromaleigh! |

Comments:This is a soft, very wearable and pretty green that looks darker in the jar, but goes on light and sheer. You can easily build to a deeper color if desired. One of my favorite greens! |

Comments:Love the soft natural colors of this line. I prefer March for my coloring, as the yellowish tan, adds nice pop for my hazel/green/brown eyes. The verdigris is nice, but with this color I need to add more contrasting colors to make it work. Both are my idea of smooooooth colors. |

Comments:Beautiful easy to wear colors, mattes that are not garish makeing the eyes look old and crepey like colors that are too frosty (disco eyes!). So soft and pretty, I think anyone can wear these and look perfect and rested. I got all the samples in a set and they are lasting forever. I will get several full sizes when they are gone. I love these. |

Comments:I love these easy to use beautiful soft colors. Marsh, Catteleya, Dune and Palmetto are great foolproof everyday colors for me. Matte, easy to blend, mistakeproof... and so pretty. I like bright colors too but not every day do I hyave the energy to devote lots of time to my makeup. |

Comments:Would never have tried Heron in a million years. Got it as a free sample. It turned out to be the most stunning blue grey for dark green eyes/ 2L foundation. It looks how I thought Dolphin would look. Sample both because I liked Dolphin A LOT but it didn't approach the stun setting like Heron did. But I'm sure the choice between the two depends on your coloring.A nice smooth Matte that doesn't cake in wrinkles. I apply it with the Flat Shader brush which applies it all over lid in a few sweeps with less intense concentration than the otherwise awesome Wet/Dry shadow brush. Pretty and romantic. |
