*** Note: The drop-down menu inventory you see here is as close to our actual inventory as we can get each day. But it is not a guarantee. In other words, just because you are able to order a certain color does not guarantee that we have it in stock. These are clearance items. First come, first served!

2/16: I sadly announce that I must discontinue this gorgeous line of shadows because the pigments that we based the collection upon are no longer being made by their manufacturer. This isn't a case of our being able to recreate these with a different brand's pigments. These particular pigments were absolutely unique, and distinctive colors with gorgeous interference effects. They were the mainstay upon which I created the Midsummer Night's Dream line, 5 years ago.

We will be formulating new eyeshadows to take the place of what was one of our most popular collections. We look forward to bringing you even more exciting new colors this year. It is with much trepidation that I type this notification, because I know that this discontinuation will be met with frustration and sadness from the many who loved this line of shadows so much.

Fifteen mineral eyeshadows from Aromaleigh... inspired by the lush, verdant tableaux of Shakespeare's fairy world portrayed in "A Midsummer Night's Dream".

These are the colors of the earth, the foliage, the flora and the fauna... with unexpected glimmers of iridescence and mysterious highlights of shimmering colors.

NOTE: While we have made all attempts for photographs to accurately depict colors, photography unfortunately does not accurately reveal the depth and interplay of color and effect of these shadows. Also, please note that variations do exist between different computer monitors.

Size: .33 oz. net volume/ approx. 4 grams net weight (weight varies slightly from color to color) Sample baggie= 1/16 teaspoon (enough for several applications)

Visage: A shimmering dove blue/grey. Blossom: A pale tea rose frost, with subtle twinkles of gold.
Helena: A saffron frost with highlights of iridescent rose and gold. Oberon: A deep golden yellow with iridescent flecks of green and gold.
Titiana: A warm terracotta brown with iridescent shimmers of green and rose. Maiden: A very muted mauve/lilac with flecks of golden glimmer. Romantic...
Elfin: Cocoa brown with turquoise green iridescence. Nymph: Heathered lilac with glimmers of purple and rose.
Swoon: A deep gray-black with brilliant rose and gold iridescence. Grace: A mossy brown with green and blue shimmer.
Trifle: A rich bordeaux with purple and rose iridescence. Hermia: A mid-toned rosy-mauve frost.
Virtue: A glorious grey with various highlights green, gold, bronze... Flora: A deep purple base with iridescent shimmers of lilac and roses.
Fairy: Shimmering taupe with green and golden highlights.

Virtue
By Alex on October 18, 2008

Comments:

Ok y'all. Why is virtue not bought up yet? This is the most awsome color! The base is gray, but it has an iredescense like a butterfly's wing, a multi-color shimmer. I don't look good in grey, but this color is not just grey. I'd say the multi-color shimmers turn it into a lighter taupe version of fairy when looked at from far away.

Stock up while you can!
By Ranae on June 19, 2008

Comments:

*sad* these are being discontinued. The colors are absolutely beautiful and creative...in a very subtle, but fun way. A perfect flirty/romantic slice of art on anyone. If you don't have these yet, get a few...you won't be disappointed. These will disappear before you know it. *I better check my stash and see what I'm missing or need more of!*
too bad

too bad these will be d/c'd. Nice, softer colors, easy blend as always. Use these on quiet days, when you're feeling a bit grown up. (not that I do that often) or use for the understated eye.

I like the color of this shadow. The contrasting sparkles are really fun. It also has a very nice concentration of color and goes a long way.

Beautiful, subtle colors

I'll be sorry to see these go. There's so much dimension in these shades. Just as advertised,"hermia" is perfect for my brown eyes. Also "grace" and "flora" work well for me.

Midsummer Night's Dream Shadows
By Judy Helton on April 27, 2008

Comments:

I ordered four of these discontinued shadows. They are quite beautiful. I chose Fairy, Grace, Elfin and Virtue. Except for Elfin, all of the colors I chose have some version of green pigments (mixed with other reflective colors). I really like this, as these tones blend nicely with my blueish-green eyes. I was wearing Fairy when I went to have my hair cut and my hair stylist complimented the shadow and said that it stood out in a "soft" way. I'm glad I took advantage of these beautiful and unusual shadows. Because of the different reflective colors, I find that I can contour my eyes just using the one shadow. Sometimes I use a light ecru or cream colored shadow underneath the Midsummer Night's Dream, and this changes the look for even more variety.
Great colors

This was the first time I have bought the eyeshadows. I love how all the colors I bought go together beautifully. It's too bad they are discontinued.

Amazing
By Janelle on February 7, 2008

Comments:

Just have to comment on a few of these. I got a couple samples for fun when they were on sale. Fairy surprised me by being a truly gorgeous darker taupe on my eyes, with a hint of shimmer. And elfin, I can not describe how amazing it looks with my blue eyes. Maiden is a great to add light sparkle and highlights. I will be back for full size with some of these. I don't know how you create all these cool colors. It's so much fun wearing them all.

Mixed results
By Jennifer on September 25, 2007

Comments:

I've only tried a few of these shadows, with mixed results. I was disappointed in Trifle -- it looked lovely in the sample bag, but when I applied it looked like a fairly matte terra cotta / orange color! I do like Hermia, it is a nice greyish purple with shimmer. Fairy is an interesting color, kind of a greenish-brown with shimmer -- I haven't quite figured out what to use with this color yet!

I love this set. They have a nice sparkle to them, but they're perfect for everyday eyeshadow. My favorite is Virtue, it's the perfect grey sparkle. Titania is nice as well.

So pretty!
By Sharon on January 6, 2007

Comments:

I got these because the colors sounded so interesting, and I was right! I tried a few samples, of oberon, grace, f;lora, trifle and nypmh and the colors and very beautiful and unique. They look wonderful with green eyes. They have highlights and change with the light, just like they are described. And they stay on well, too. I will try more colors and am definitly getting a fill size of grace and trifle!
